I'd like to see SWA do this when we are flying on Xmas day

    That was amazing - I also teared up to see everyone so happy and incredulous. The cynic in me is suprised a riot didn't break out with passengers from other flights trying to steal gifts, but I imagine there was some kind of security. Also, they are Canadians, so much more polite. :)

    and it other news, Air Canada (WestJet's major competition) just beat the shit out of my wife's Hard Shell suitcase on the way back from Vegas on Monday!

    Ditto. This video probably just pisses off the Canadians who fly Air Canada. :( Really feel bad for you Canadians when it comes to airfare..

    i saw this yesterday, how awesome for those people. I have always preferred westjet over AC, i like their customer service better.

    A couple weeks ago I flew Air Canada to Vancouver and then Westjet from there to Vegas a few days later. I like those Canadian airlines. Their personnel definitely have much nicer and more pleasant demeanors. Better service too. Flying coach on Air Canada was better than my return flight from Vegas in first class on US Air.

    Surprised that SWA didn't jump on that PR stunt. SWA and Westjet are codeshare partners.
