Double XP on this game for the next 37 hours.

Looks like they're switching it up a bit. Usually they wait til the weekend after a new game's launch to do double XP. But it looks like for this one it's just going to be today and tomorrow, not this weekend.

Been playing this game for a week and doing great.

Now, double XP, I've run through 300 spins without a single bonus. Down about 500,000 chips in 10 minutes. Absolutely hilarious how they rig these games during double XP. Nice to get the "real casino" experience.

    Thanks MGM!

Wonder if it was double xp last night and I didn't notice, because I had the same experience as DCSeawolf. Lost half a million chips in about 20 minutes betting 3,000 per spin. Only got one Free Spins bonus the whole time. Just a complete beatdown.

Still makes me laugh when I think about one time someone on VMB hypothesized that MyVegas was supposed to "train" people that slots pay off handsomely. It's incredibly rare that I have a winning session on MyVegas at any time, double xp or not.

I had actually been playing this game since it's launch with no luck whatsoever and had my best session last night (and I don't believe double xp had launched yet). Actually had free spins trigger within free spins adding 5 more and a shitload of wilds (but still didn't get the mega spin I hoped for)

I played it the first night it launched. 200 spins and not one bonus round.

After that I said I'll wait for double xp.

Just had an awesome little run. Got tons of bonus rounds. Started out at 300k, got up to 600k at one point and played it back down to 300k again. Leveled up like 3 or 4 times so I can't really complain.

Think I'll wait for an all games double xp. A few spins of this game told me it wasn't worth it. Sample size be damned.

This game is crazy high variance. I was playing 12k a spin and kept going from 100k to 1.5 million and back and forth and eventually went bust. one of my spins won me 1.2 million on a single spin with only 4 partial rows of wilds.

Some people are posting 8 million chip jackpots on the myvegas fan page (december 6 posting).

I've tried a couple times at 1,200 or 3,000 a spin, but never got anything close to a 7 figure jackpot - I imagine they're betting 10k+ per spin.

This has been my general experience as well. Usually do terrible when it's double xp. I read other ppl that advance a crazy amount of levels though. So I assume it is just me being unlucky. These slots should be around 90% return, so u are expected to lose.

Yeah any stacked wild game is a variance nightmare. That's why they are pretty popular in the casino. The thing that annoys me about this game is the bonus makes you add 20 wilds per spin, but the bonus reels have hundreds of more stops than the normal spins...:grrr:

The only decent bonus spins i seem to get are usually the final spin.

I started at 12 million chips, betting 60k per spin. I went down to 11m, and then gradually up to 21m. since then I've been variating between 14m and 19m, depending on the day.

From my experience, the extra spins are where the payoff is. You won't increase your stack with normal spins. That said, the extra spins don't happen often enough to warrant continuous spins at 60k. I spun 200 times last night at 60k and hit extra spins twice out of the 200, and still finished down 2m. I would point out that my extra spins were particularly bad (only 600k each time). They're usually 1m, and my highest was 5m.

Something to note is that as the lines spin and stop, you will already know if you hit extra spins because the first "extra spin" will be pulsating before the rest of them even show. It's a good trick to keep yourself from being disappointed when the second one shows and the third one doesn't. If you hit extra spins while in extra spins, it'll add 5. If you hit 4 extra spins as a trigger, it will add 2 more spins, and I'd assume hitting 5 would do the same, if that ever happens.

I've never really gotten any payoff with the 5 extra spins, despite the fact that it says it keeps adding "20 extra wilds". I would have hoped that 100 extra wilds would help but it doesn't seem to. There's still pretty decent value in it. I was able to level up 100 times (from 160 to 260) in 5 days.

I drained 300k chips betting 3k per spin in a HURRY. No bonuses.

My wife played on 100k chips (now at 500k) forever betting 3k or 6k because she hit several bonuses.

Based on this and the thread, basically you better get bonuses or you are in trouble.

I haven't been playing as long as others, so my virtual bankroll hasn't been as high. I played the double XP for a good while too and lost the 60K that I had betting 600 per spin. When the game first came out, I hit a couple 44K jackpots off of a 600 chip spin. The free spin is pretty fun too since they throw extra wilds in after each spin. But it definitely feels like the game will shut down on you when they want it too. There are times when you go 10 spins without any type of return. So far the game has been pretty fun though.

Excited about the Double XP on Betrock, but it has been so stingy. No free spins over about 400 tries. Went from 300,000 chips to 5. This was betting an average of 300, or 600 per spin. I thought that it was a design flaw, but based on these other posts maybe not. It is so aggravating to have to wait for the chip buildup to take advantage of the next special. This is my least favorite game by far.

Decided to play this last night since it was double XP and hit a WHOPPING 2.4 million chips on a 30K bet. Went up to 5M in chips from 1M.

Well, variance is the name of this game. I saved up 600,000 chips waiting for a 2x . . . I started yesterday at Level 92 with 613,000 chips. I immediately lost 500,000 in ten minutes. Switched to 600 a pull. Got down to 30,000 chips, and then got hot and went back to 200,000. From there, I held steady for a while before ultimately getting back down to 33,000 chips (about 20 minutes ago). Prepared to go busto, I kept spinning 1,200 a pull. Got to the bonus and hit for 133,000. Then got hot and hit 7 bonuses in a matter of minutes. Hit another for 177,000 chips.

In the end, went from Level 92 to 98, and lost a mere 40,000 chips from my starting stack of 613,000 . . .

The most fun I've had for free in a while!

I think the double xp promotion ended (didn't see it anywhere on the games section or an announcement), but betrock is still giving double xp.

I'm betting 1,200 chips per spin, and its still giving 1,200 xp.

    That's not double XP.

On the slots: Whatever you are spinning at, you get in XP.
On BlackJack: You only get half the XP of what you are betting at.

If it were double XP you would be getting 2,400 XP for every 1,200 spin you did.

    Blackjack drives me nuts! lol

I become an "addict" when playing that game. I feel like I have to win back anything I lose which just leads to me losing more and more...
