I've never seen one of those either. What was the wager? It looks like $15 or was it 5 coin in plus another 5 coin in.

    Edit.

Looked at the pic again and noticed the amount won and am more confused than ever LOL.

    Nice hit anyway.

Do they have the Dream Card option anywhere in Vegas?

I was confused too since the amount won is just a normal $2 royal yet cost him twice the amount. I thought the Dream Card added some bonus, but here is a description of it, it helped him get the royal in the first place:

$2 machine. 5 credits + 5 credits for the dream card bonus = 10 credits per pull, or $20 per game at the $2 level.

I've played dream card for quarters one time at Green Valley Ranch I believe. Burned through $60 in about 10 minutes, never got the dream card for anything better than 3 of a kind.

Circus Circus Las Vegas has it. I played a little of it on my trip about a month ago but couldn't quite figure it out. It costs twice as much if you activate the Dream Card, right?

Wynn has one in the middle of the main casino. Ballys has one, I think it's called Five Star but it's one that has multiple games and is just one option. It is on the far right wall where all the vp is. I love playing Deuces Wild on these as 4 Deuces and Wild Royals happen a lot more often.

Bellagio used to have this. Not sure if they still do.

I played it a little bit. Didn't do much for me, probably because I didn't hit anything big.

    Very nice hit Mike.

Flamingo and maybe Harrah's have it. I never have any luck so rarely play it. It sucks up the budget fast if you don't get the dream card.

I was actually suprised how often the Dream Card came up on this machine, probably once every 5-6 hands on average. The nice thing about the game is it greatly increases your frequency of 3OAKs, because if you are dealt a pair and get the Dream Card it automatically gives you 3OAK, thus giving you a chance at a quad. The downside is it's 10 credits per spin lol.

Yes, it costs about twice as much to play with dream card since being allowed to choose your 5th deal card is obviously a big deal. And technically you do choose because the machine allows you to change the card if you wish. Sometimes this is important because I have heard some units have had minor bugs about defaulting to the "best choice". Mainly the dream card possibly giving you a pair of 5s thru 10s instead of a pair of 2s-4s in bonus type games, iirc.

And Circus Circus is worthy of mentioning here because they offer the best DreamCard on the Strip according to VPFree2.

Here are Vegas-area casinos that have them though (assuming the list is up to date; >99% machines listed in parentheses according to VPFree2):

Spin Poker versions are 9 line, but player can play Dream Card with as little as one line.

Aliante Casino & Hotel (8/5 Bonus at quarters 3/5/10 play)
    Bally's
    Cannery Resort Hotel Casino
    Bellagio (regular and spin)
Circus Circus Hotel Casino Las Vegas (8/5 Bonus and 9/6 BP Deluxe at quarters 5-play) (8/5 Bonus at quarter Spin Dream Card)
    Green Valley Ranch
    M Resort Spa and Casino
    Mandalay Bay (regular and spin)
    MGM Grand Hotel Casino
    Mirage
Orleans Hotel & Casino (8/5 Bonus quarter spin poker)
    Rampart Casino at the Resort
Red Rock Casino Resort Spa (8/5 Bonus and 9/7 Double Bonus at spin poker w/dream card as cheap as dimes!; also 8/5 Bonus at 3/5/10 play quarters)

Also Dream Card can be found on some (not all) Five Star poker units. These are all single hand games like the one Mike hit on.

And dang man...share the luck! lol The best I ever done on this game (tiny sample) is the fourth deuce given to me as the dreamcard on 6/5 Bonus at Mandalay Bay, but since I was just playing one nickel hand...$10...yippee...lol

And don't rub it in that you were running bad on dreamcards...lol DDB = 31% of getting a dreamcard (a little less than 1 in 3). Probabilities vary by game type.

Actually I had no idea the probabilty of getting a dream card was even that high, I was expecting the same type of probability as STP (once every 15-17 hands)!!
