when does your ADP start being counted....when you checking using your players card or when you first start playing with your players card?

if i checked in and went to another (non associated) property to play for that day and night, will i have a day with no play against me at my host property?

    any info is greatly appreciated.

The moment CET realizes you are present at one of their properties, whether you play or not--a day has been triggered in their system. If you are trying to boost ADT, do not do anything at a CET prop unless you are planning to play.

The different casino companies start their play day at different times.
MGM and CET start at different times.
I had a late arrival on Sat night a couple weeks ago at Harrahs AC and my host suggested not playing until the next morning.

I ABSOLUTELY WHOLE HEARTEDLY agree with this.
If you swipe your card ANYWHERE at a CET Property, you've triggered a "trip".
HOWEVER, I'm note absolutely sure if you stay on a marketing comp (ie: book your room via the online calendar) that it will trigger a trip if you never take your card out of your wallet (ie: I'm on vacation and I don't intend on gambling)

    re: CET

I really do not think swiping a card for your room triggers your ADT. There are many trips when I never use my card, and use my wifes for play. But use mine for room. They do not actually swipe your card at checkin, but your number is in there though.

The reason I say it does NOT trigger at CET is you can check your account online and it does have a data of last activity. I have NO WAY of knowing if an ADT is triggered. But, based on offers I get, I think not. No way to know for sure.

So I can just book a complimentary five night stay every month at Caesars Palace and never swipe my card or play once. How long will that last? I would guess about one month, two max. They know you are there.

if you use your card for anything they know if you are gambling or not.

if you check in using an offer your number is the computerso it definatly triggers.

they only way around this is pay for your room and dont use your card and you will be fine .

also i you collect free show tickets or stuff they know you are at there property and if you played.

You book on a comp, you trigger a day when you check in
and you can bet, that every new day that starts with you occupying a room, triggers a day.

Typically, and can vary by an hour or so, but a "day" begins and ends about 4-5am with most properties/companies

    Maybe it triggers a trip/visit.

Just saying I have made multiple visits to Tunica and NOT used by card except checkin and continue to get offers.

Sure, and that's Tunica. You may register a day, and no-play or low-play, so it'll ding your ADT, but it's not as if it knocks it to zero, plus you likely make it up at other times and locations, like LV

My host has told me, they expect the occasional low/no play trip....people get sick, things happen, bad luck, low funds and/or you just want to vacation for a change....that's what I plan to do on my NYE trip with wife, I'm likely gonna low-play it. I go a couple times a year by myself and grind out a lot of points and a lot of time, generating a decent ADT, so if I low play this trip, yeah, it'll ding my ADT some, but I still have a good ADT and my host isn't going to abandon me for the one low-play trip. Since she knows my wife is coming, I'll bet money she expects I'll low-play this trip.

Unless you have a really, really, really smart host - their answer is not going to be worth much. And, even then, what the host looks at and what the all knowing computer uses are not the same thing. The host has no idea what the "system" is going to measure in the future either.

We really have to find out for sure, for those with a cool and smart host, ask away:

    1) Would putting my card in the machine just to check my TC/RC (no play) trigger my ADT?

    2) Using my diamond card to get in a diamond lounge trigger my ADT?

    3) Using my diamond card to get in a spa trigger my ADT?

im in vegas 70% of the year and i do 1 of these 3 everyday, some days all 3, wonder why my offers went to sh!t, only things left is tunica and laughlin offers lol

Watch the answer would be something like this lol:
Host: All yes, its best to stay away from CET completely, theres no way you can hide from us.

I think you have answered your own question, but ALL of those actions trigger a "day" at CET and doing any of those things without playing hurts your ADT.

    my guess is yes.

im local i get all free rooms all i want but the extras sux.

i get the local maliers ,

free play 10 $ to 50$ plus some free slot but mostly 20$ a week.

so i would go in get the 20 dollar voucher and leave as you have all year to use it.i would get enough for like 100$ to 200 $ dollar bet then go gamble.

as im a black chip player a 10$ free bet is useless and there not getting my play on that when other place are giving me 100$ or more a week plus 100$ a week in free food.
so the finaly cut my mailer off.

they just started it again a whole 10$ a week.

i was just at harrahs betting 400$ a hand so the 10$ doesnt do much for .

i made diamond again but after i hit 15,000 i didnt care how much i played there ,they dont give me any reason to go.

Picking up those $20 vouchers eventually cost you more than $20. Each time you do that, it triggers a trip, and if you had low or zero play that day, your ADT really got whacked. So, the offers would continue to drop. Pick up 5 of those in a row with no play, and they now consider you a non player.

Back when folks could see their ADT online, I quickly found out two things I was doing that killed my ADT.

1 - Picking up small offers. Those $10-$20 giveaways were killing me.

2 - Low play on last morning. It triggered another day, bringing ADT down. I still might play at breakfast, but do not use my card.

I agree. I NEVER use my card on a morning departure. We play on my wife's card. I never swipe or check point balances etc on that last morning.
