I do this when I have already lost my shirt for the day..

I know Paris is the worst! Also, does casino security keep an eye out for this:ssst:

I've had great service at the penny slots at Palazzo using the Drinks4U drink button. Feed a couple of bucks into the machine, order a drink, wait until it's delivered, tip the CW then cash out and walk around. Most machines aren't single-line machines, though, so the "per spin" cost will be higher than Downtown. But you can get fast service, which can make up for a lot.

I am sure you are the first one to ever think this up.

LOL I saw this thread and figured for sure C0usineddie would give his detailed description on how to do this. You've posted about it so many times. What a letdown. Throw the guy a bone and repost your strategy about sticking $5 or whatever into a machine and slow playing on the min bet while in sight of the waitresses.

Works even better at the craps table. Nobody ever checks your bets. You could put min bet on the pass line and stand there with $100 in the rack and the drink lady will serve 'em up no questions asked.

At a $5 table and 102 throws per hour, your expected cost is $2.14 per hour plus tips. (Source: Wikipedia craps article)

Hell, I've even had servers off drinks to my buddies standing next to me with no chips in play all the time.

This has happened to me many times on any given casino floor. I'm standing by my buddy, watching him play VP and a CW will come up and ask him if he wants anything to drink. She'll then ask me even though I don't have a red cent in play. No biggie as I don't drink. Sometimes I'll ask for a soda or water. Sometimes nothing.

My buddies brother-in-law was playing one line on a penny machine for a penny at Planet Hollywood and they didn't have any problem bringing him all the beer he could drink. We didn't know he was doing it until he accidently hit max bet and lost 75 cents. I think he said later that his bankroll for the weekend was 20 bucks.

When I see a Cousineddie post I am expecting the usual rundown about how you are a fool if you do not crack open a 40oz beer first thing in the morning purchased from the local convenience store in order to save money. You then proceed to down several more beers before leaving your room.

I am ready for a beer late morning early afternoon depending on the circumstance but shit Eddie - give a few moments to wake up and put myself together!

I would say Planet Hollywood or Monte Carlo.

Planet Hollywood has two ABC stores in the Miracle Mile shops and Monte Carlo has the CVS store right out front. At both you should be able to get two big cans of beer for $5, each can holds the equivalent of two bottles so the price works out to $1.25 per bottles worth of beer and you can pretty much drink them as fast as you want without having to wait for the waitress to come around and take your order and then drop them off.

I do this all the time when I'm not gambling. You can always find me walking around with a tallboy or 2.

There's no reason to actually play at all. Wait till you see a waitress making here rounds. Pretend you don't see her but when you are sure she can see you pull out a twenty and put it in the machine. She will say 'cocktails?'. You will say 'yes'. Cash out. Wait for drink. Tip waitress. Repeat. If you feel like you need to justify your existence upon her return say something like 'boy, that twenty went fast'. Stick another 20 dollar bill in and order another drink while she is there if you are slightly ballsier.

Also, this will work at any casino. They don't care if you are paying, only that you are tipping.

This is a great strategy and it would work in Vegas!

However they are cracking down on this in AC and require a certain minimum bet, which I think is ridiculous (but maybe they are losing a lot of money).

Kickin and Cousineddie, you have me laughing. I did anticipate a more detailed note from you Cousineddie. LOL@not being bill gates for paying more on tips than play.

This last trip a few weeks back we were at Rio's Shutters Bar. Bartender actually waited to see my buddy play the first hand of VP before he would serve him the drink he ordered.

No need to be sneaky. Casino Royale has cheap beer. Sit at the bar and not waste your time trying to get one over a cocktail waitress who could care less.

But if you REALLY want to drink for the price of a tip only. Go to any Keno lounge, buy the cheapest ticket you can, and sit there and drink & tip.

Any sports book is also a good place to get free drinks, just pretend you have some bets on the screens.

Any Casino will keep serving drinks as long as you get the right waitress and tip every time, some of them will rapid fire you drinks as well

Walk into Mermaids. The CW's will hit you up for a drink as soon as you walk into the door. Their mixed drinks are usually pretty strong as well. If you are that down on your luck, the $1 hot dogs there would be your perfect dinner.
