Booked at Mirage for early November and got a quote of $55 per night(Sun-Wed). Just wondering if this is a good rate. I got this through the VIP phone line. I am a Mlife member but do not gamble a lot when we go. Avg bankroll of around $200 per day. Thanks for all your help.
I'd think that if you don't have much of a history with them, depending on the week, it's a decent price. Go to the Mirage website and search your dates anonymously to see what the rates are to the general public. If they're more than the $55/nt you were offered via mlife, than you got a good deal!
That rate seems great for Mirage! With tax and resort fee it's under a $100. Honestly, without being comped, I've never seen Mirage much cheaper than that. It's always higher... compared to other places. My parents just booked Mirage in a few weeks Sun-Wed (10th-13th or something), I think they got it for like $65 or something through Mlife. They gamble about what you do.
Sounds like a good rate, but who knows. Room rates can go up and down by $200-$300 a night depending on various factors Log into their site and see what they are running by looking at the MONTHLY rate calendar. Or check the major sites.
Thanks for the replies. Looked up the rate calendar and for 4 nights Nov 10-14, it is $558 before taxes and resort fees and with my Mlife offers, it is $446 before taxes and resort fees. So I can be happy with what I got! Hopefully I can manage to get a complimentary upgrade at check in. Due to my getting a good rate, what are my chances of getting a upgrade?
We stayed at the Mirage in May this year and paid $65 per night so I'd say you got a good rate. As far as an upgrade, I think that will depend on what day and time you check in and their availability - but it never hurts to ask.
I booked 2 nights at The Mirage through mlife as well for the end of November. I got it for $45/night. It was a promo that was there for like a week and then it was gone. But $55 is pretty good too I think.
Wow, $45 sounds like a great price. I might try to call back at the beginning of November and see if the November promotions are better than what I reserved. We land at 10:30 in the morning so we should be at the Mirage before noon. Should I wait til later in the afternoon to check in to have a better chance at an upgrade or should I check in as soon as we get there?
Funny, I'll be there at the same time. Deep stack extravaganza! I've had Mirage rates for $35 before, but you got a better rate than I did. Price has gone up since.
