Hi everyone,
I've been stalking this site for the last month! My husband & I have a mini trip planned for Nov13-16, at the Golden Nugget. In the past we have always stayed on the strip so I'm anxious to find out if downtown is for us.

Welcome to the board! I love this site, too. Of all the Vegas sites I've checked out this one has, by far, been the best one! Everyone is very helpful and friendly, information is endless and there are great stories. Have fun on your upcoming trip....I'm a little jealous since I have to wait a couple more months

 

I made the mistake of staying downtown a couple weeks ago. Im a strip guy and decided to switch things up and ill never do that again! Hopefully you'll have a good time though.

 

Thank you I hope your trip is great as well. I've looked at a lot of downtown posts & there really is a wealth of info here.

 

I've only been to Fremont once a few years ago & it was only for a few hours. I really like the convenience of everything there. We'll have to see how it plays out. I do have plans on the strip for one evening but other than that we're just going to be hanging out.

Everyone has their own opinion of downtown. The only way you will know if you will like downtown is to give it a try. Hopefully you will have a great experience. Have fun on the trip and good luck!
