NO NFL For Me- Second Week :(

I have DISH and they are in contract disputes with my local Fox and CBS carrier. Second week in a row no noon and 3 sunday games. So shitty!!

 

It's seems DISH is always in a dispute with someone.

What are the advantages of them besides "out of area" situations?

 

Dish is usually the lowest price by far, if you don't have a ton of addons.

Zamboni, have you tried the new antennas? Like the flatwaves at Costco or Walmart. I was pretty amazed at the quality of signal.

 

We had a similar situation here with Time Warner and the local NBC affiliate. Time Warner started giving out free off air antennas to any subscribers who wanted them after the dispute when on for weeks.

I also called, bitched and threatened to cancel my service, so they gave me HBO free for 3 months.

 

Same game, different league ...

Loads of Pac-12ers here in the 'hood, and those on DirecTV still don't get the Pac channel, and then this weekend DirecTV was showing stuff like Lower Albany State v. South Central Ohio Poly instead of UCLA-Stanford ...

I pay through the nose for Comcast but at least we get everything we want to see.

No what sucks was my golf game yesterday ... jeez. No bueno.

 

I have my camper in the backyard and it has an antenna on it. I think I am going to see if DISH will send me a converter box and I can go out there and watch the games. I talked to the CBS/FOX channel locally yesterday and they pointed fingers at DISH and I am quite sure DISH would do the same back at them if I called them.
