MyVegas Double XP this weekend

Double XP this weekend when playing MGM Grand Mega Stars.

 

So far I could restrain myself from playing this game.

How is it in your opinion?

 

I seemed to do ok with it last night, not so good this morning.

 

I've done OK on the game itself, but that high-low game will be the death of me one of these days!

 

Its not bad. My first bonus round I kept clicking up and got 5 in a row. The last pick paid out 174k. If it wasn't double exp, I wouldn't play it though. I don't like that its either 800 chip bet or 2000. Not really an optimal LP gain at those denominations.

 

Same for me: last night the game was doing pretty good and I wound up earning four levels with the double XP thing (up to 193 now) but now the game is just dead and can't win anything or get any bonus symbols.

 

I don't like the graphics of the game for one thing - but really don't like the 40 line range of playing 800 vs 2000. At 800 it took over 20 spins to get the LP chips. At 2000 it only took 5-6 but that is no faster than I get for playing FF at 1500 which is what I normally play.

 

well, the high denomination play finally got to me. From 2.3 million chips down to zero within ~250 games.

first 100 games brought me up to 2.5 million. after that, i went down to about a million -> got a full high-low game with 1.1 million chips win and than nothing anymore. After 200 games, I was down to 1.3 million. From there, it did go down to 0 within 30-50 games...
Both high-low and freegames are on "4 out of 5" though... will probably wait until i have 500k Chips and try to play until the both bonusgames are over. After that, I will stop playing high (for ever)...

At least, it got me from level 83 (or something like that) to level 100...

 

wow you had to have easily capped 2k LP for the day running that many chips through.

 

Probably only 500 lp's. 300 spins / 6 * 10.

 

No matter what type, everytime they run one of these various timed promos, I can never seem to get any traction (translated, red chips) to do any good.

 

I have done pretty good with the previous bonus quests lately, but this game has killed me pretty bad.

Yeah, I went through 2.3 million in chips I saved up since last double xp in sept. At 40k I leveled from 165 to 173. which is way less then i was hoping for.

 

Does anyone else have problems playing this game for more than 45 minutes or so? (besides losing chips)

I get graphics lag, and have to restart my computer. Studio City does this to me too.
Probably just my old computer.

 

Yes, my 2007 iMac struggles with all MyVegas games after a while, but the new MGM one seems to be the worst culprit.

 

This game is extremely volatile.

That being said, I had some incredible runs with it this weekend.

I think I went from level 181 to 192 (soooo close to 193) before I completely ran out of chips.

Started with 400k chips that I had saved up specifically for a double XP weekend. Got up to 800k at one point (playing 4000 a spin). Then upped it to 8000 a spin and got killed quickly. Drained everything.

 

This weekend went okay, got to level up a few times. But I am not a big fan of the MGM Stars game.

I'm going back to hoarding until a Double XP weekend pops up, applicable to ALL MV games.

 

Started with 300k chips betting 8,000/spin. Got a couple great bonuses and ran it up to 1.5 mil. Lost a mil betting 20,000/spin and then lost the rest back at 8k/spin. All in all went from level 120-129 and put 10 mil xp points on...not bad at all.

 

This game does nothing for me. Except for a one good bonus, I ran out of chips way before I usually do. Betting 2000 I was only getting 800 or less. One bonus playing the lowest I could gave me 80,000...then I stopped!
