    YTD : 7-6 (+0.40 units)

    Split with the PHI/NYG game.

Treading water here. I feel confident that my record will improve as the season progresses.

(This write up might sound familiar.)

I am normally not a big trend guy but I am going to play this one.

This is the largest opening line in NFL regular season history.

In the 20 regular season games in history with the largest spreads the favorite is 3-17 ats!

Justin Blackmon came back for Jacksonville this week after a 4 game suspension and had a huge game. Not sure if Marcedes Lewis will be back but if he is that is another threat for the Jaguars.

Holding my nose and taking Jacksonville.

    Jacksonville +28 (-110) William Hill

If Henne plays QB for Jax, I'm a buyer at +28.

I can't put my hard earned $$ on Gabbert. That dude is pathetic.

Would never lay 28 in an NFL game.

Jacksonville is 0-5 against the spread this year, for what it's worth.

I just don't understand the value in continuing to bet on terrible, inconsistent teams. might as well flip a coin with your buddy for the cash. actually a coin-flip would be better odds than the worst team in football that also happens to be 0-5 ATS. but if you keep betting on them, I'm sure they'll cover a spread eventually ...

America's team gets 28 points against Denver? I take America's team and the points.

As a Mizzou alum, it's sad to hear this, but at the same time, definitely don't blame you.

Live here in Jax and a few notes:

Joeckel their starting left tackle is out for the season. They are looking on the waiver wire. The entire offensive line sucks.

Odds are the Broncos will slow it down after they are up 28 or so by halftime. See Seattle for further proof. Jags looked good against the Rams for a bit but it was the Rams. Defense collapses somewhere mid way through the 2nd quarter of every game and it goes downhill quickly.

Lewis is useless this season. Hamstring is still sore so don't count on him.

Del Rio, now Denver D-Coordinator, will have a game plan together to embarrass the Jags as he was their former head coach 2 years ago. They will load the box and dare the Jags to beat them in the air. Wait, that's what happened when he was the head coach also. Expect a ton of blitzing due to the O-Line being weak and Gabbert has happy feet. Henne is a gunslinger that makes a lot of mistakes.

MJD had 81 yds but 20 came on 1 carry. Has lost a step

Do you give the points? 0-5 against the spread and the Rams I believe were an 11.5 point favorite. Hmmmm.

I'll be out there next week and I probably will be laying the 28 pts, hell I would lay it at 30 as well.

Jacksonville is one of the worst teams I can recall seeing, plus losing Joeckel just makes them even worse.

Denver will put up 50+ on them easily, does anyone really think Jacksonville can score 15-20 pts on the road? I don't and that is why I LOVE Denver -28.

I love the over. Over over over. Denver should be good for 48, and I'll count on Jax to put up a garbage time touchdown. Heck, I'll even say they'll kick a field goal at some point to take the total to 58. Hope the number stops going up before I get there...52.5 and rising last I checked.

Gabbert was a badass at Mizzou. He had the look of a NFL quarterback; at least to me.

Some guys just don't pan out. Maybe a change of scenery would help. He doesn't have much of a supporting cast either.

Right now Jax sucks less with Henne (I think).

I still don't think it is high enough unless Denver plays second string the entire second half

I was thinking America's team would keep it within 28, but I'm starting to have my doubts.

I think they said it was the largest, and the odds makers wanted to put it in the 30's, but were hesitant to do so because couldn't factor in how long first string would play

This is a game worth taking a shot at. Risk, Reward. Oftentimes, the overdog will unconsciously not play as hard and the underdog will go way over their heads.

I would slap down a hundo on Jax.

You don't think they will when they are up by 20+ at half?

That's why they set the line where is at since this is the big mystery. Denver's second string may still add to the total. ...
