Son and I come to Vegas at lease once a year. Both of us are "Carnivores." We just love a good Steak. We have been to Cut, Strip House, N9NE and Ramsay's. Now we're looking for some where to have another fine dinning experience. Keeping in mind that our Appetizer is also meat related (KOBE STEAK TAR TARE and/or Kobe Steak Sashimi) Not a sea food fan here but son is. Any suggestions would be helpful.:licklips:

Also, are you dry aged or wet aged fans? Do sides matter much to you?

    steak

Sides don't matter too much. But do like a vegie or two. The way the Meat is aged isn't a big thing. I have had both Dry and Wet. Just love the taste of a good steak.

Gallaghers in NYNY is really good.
The Steakhouse in Circus circus used to be amazing. Haven't been there in years though.
Smith and Wollensky is great in my opinion.
The Striphouse in PH is great.

I know Carnevino has its lovers and haters but I think it should be on a steak lovers must visit list.

It's not a steakhouse, but Sage serves fine steaks. I'm also a fan of Jean-Georges. Prime is great too, but I like JG a bit more.

SW Steakhouse for me........awesome steaks and you can get the scallop dish (which is scallops, risotto and peas) as an appetizer.

The steaks are great and they have a wonderful wine list. If you can make it to dessert, there is always something wonderful on the menu.

I thought that my meal at SW was possibly the best meal I ever had overall. Everything was perfect and I sat outside and loved it.

I have been to 3 steakhouses in Las Vegas this year. One at Flamingo was a big disappointment to me, steak just seemed flavorless. Gallaghers at NYNY was great, loved the atmosphere (kinda dark but not too bad) and food was great. Also ate at Tender in Luxor, and thought it was best of the 3. I did splurge and get the $80 waygu Kobe style steak, probably best steak I have ever had.

Old Homestead at Caesars. Hands down the best meal I've had in Vegas.
