I hope you get some feedback on this question because I'd like to know as well. I know I would never go see that Criss person.

I enjoy a good magic/illusion show. None have piqued my interest since Mr. Lance Burton. Now he knew how to put on a great show. I saw Lance Burton 5 times during his tenure at Monte Carlo. I miss it!

Chris Angel's show can't even be considered magic. It can't even be considered to be anything. I wouldn't consider it. I've seen Lance Burton and though it was a little tired, I was entertained (I don't know of Burton still has a running act in Vegas, maybe not.)

I would think Copperfield is still good. And don't forget Penn & Teller who have a lot of magic as part of their act.

For cheap and/or free (coupons are easy to get) you can see Mac King at Harrah's. Close-up magic in a small venue and very funny, great for kids.

    Hi,

I've seen all of them and enjoyed Ian Rouven at Riviera. The venue is not that good, they cramped us all in these tightly squeezed in uncomforable chairs. However, bang for buck it was an amazing show. Got tickets from Groupon at about 22$ per person.

I enjoyed this show much more than Penn & Teller. They were a disappointment, alot of yak yak yak and not enough magic. And, the show was also 4x the price.

Consider Rouven, you won't be disappointed.

I liked Penn & Teller but I agree that it was too much talk. A little too much politics for my taste. But they are funny and the magic was good.

I'd like to see Mac King. I've seen him in interviews and he was funny and strikes me as an old school magician.

I have seen two magic acts in Vegas, I seen Penn and Teller on my first visit with my wife and she had never heard of them but she did enjoy it, but as already mentioned there is a bit more talking in it but still very entertaining.
On my second visit went to see David Copperfield and was sat at a table right at the front and could see some of the magic tricks being performed right in front of me, it was a great show and I would recommend it if you want to see a top magician in Vegas.

We went to Copperfield in July and it was a good show. I'm interested to hear if you find that many of the same people get chosen (at random) to go on stage. It felt like the same people went up 2-3 times each.

Chris Angel was horrible, horrible, horrible! Don't waste your time or money.

I saw Penn & Teller and the first half of it was really good. Then I got to drunk and I don't remember a thing about the second half. I would like to go back and watch it again sober someday.

I second Jan Rouven. Bad theatre, great show for the price.

We saw Penn and Teller a year ago, and we were disappointed...a little on the boring side. However, we did see Mac King and thought it was hilarious and the price was very inexpensive..

IMO Lance Burton was fanastic, he's missed in Vegas, hopefully he'll return one day. I'm going to see Mac King next week, can't beat a $9.95 price, I've seen him on TV. He's as much comedian as magician, should be a fun hour. I enjoyed Penn & Teller when I saw them in April. Fun show at a good price.
