In Vegas between 10 and 15 for me, 3 on my August trip alone. Biggest Vegas handpay was a $2 royal for 8k at Pho. Pulled 17k from that one session!

Zero, but I deliberately play to avoid them most of the time (exceptions are WOF 25c progressive, VP Progressives, the occasional 25c 3-reel slot where 2nd or 3rd coin-in carries a marked bonus and even though I never play max bet on penny slots I guess if I got unbelievably lucky it's possible on those too).

No, that wasn't my point. I am quite happy with a $1,000 win. I just meant that it is a "hand pay" but not in the true sense of the term and not generating a W2G.

Shifter plays in a different strata than most of us and I think he just meant the hassle of the W2G paperwork and tax filings were a pita.

Read the title wrong. Guessing maybe 200 in the past 5 years?

Just know it is a pain in the ass at tax time entering all those damn things into the program.

Ask me how many times I still had that money in my hand at the end of the night....sad.....

If you count the time a slot worker had to dig my nickle out of the slot at the trop before it was renovated, one.

    I think I'm up to 4 now...
    #1: $1250 from a slot tournament (3rd place)
    #2: $1209 on a 25c 9/6 JoB progressive
    #3: $2000 royal on a 50c 8/5 BP
#4: $4000 royal on $1 Treasure Chest vP at MSS

Hopefully #5 will come in November or December at Harvey's in Lake Tahoe...

I've never had one in Vegas. My GF did on a VP machine in the Bellagio, but it was only a $400 win and we don't play VP very often so we had no idea why it triggered personal attention.

0 in 17 years. Used to play all the way up to $50 a pull. I'm just waiting for the gambling gods to make up for it when I have one of those multiple jackpot can't lose trips.:)

Zero in LV 3 in AC

Never been lucky in Vegas but have hit 3 hand pays on various machines $1200,$1100 on old style reel flaming 7 nickle machine playing max bet $1.35 and royal for around $1200 on a multi hand nickle machine with I think $2.50 max bet. All at the Showboat. They got rid of the old flaming 7 machines. I do prefer vegas for the weather

2, one in Vegas and one in the local casino. The one in Vegas was on the 100 hand VP, got dealt 4 dueces with the kicker.
