    How early are you up?

Are you a fan of Vegas mornings?

What do you love about Vegas mornings?

What do you usually do in the mornings?

I sleep. LOL. My perspective is from a nightlife person. We usually would get back around 4-6am. So we sleep in til noon or so.

Depends on what I'm there for. Thats the usual routine for a weekend fun trip.

I'm in Vegas a couple times a year to work conventions. But we still go out at night. We just say we try to get in at 2am, but we end up going til 4am. Then wake up at 8am to get to work. Try doing that 7 nights in a row. :)
There's nothing urgent in Vegas to me that I would have to be up early. Things that happen in the morning can also be done in the afternoon. :)

Morning is my favorite time! I generally prefer playing solo and tend to prefer lower limit tables. Between 7-9am usually is the perfect time for both things!

Up before 10 usually because I never sleep that well in hotels. I would ideally sleep through the morning, but if you're there in June-Aug. then it's better to do outside stuff early and "siesta" later. If I'm up real early, I'm not doing much. It's either pool or strip walking, and strip walking is good in the mornings because it's less trafficked. Definitely not gambling or drinking. I do that enough after 3 or 4 pm.

Yeah, I'm one of those early birds, but not necessarily by choice. My internal time clock tells me it's 7-8 in the morning (east coast time) when it's actually 4-5 a.m. in Vegas. So you can usually find me at some VP bar, sucking down black coffee and/or tomato juice.

Only one major problem with those VP bars early in the a.m. Many VP machine buttons are sticky from booze/mix getting spilled on them all night. That's also a word of warning. Make sure what you want to hold is actually held. I've screwed up more than one hand not being careful.

My Vegas hours are much like my hours at home. I am up at 4:30a for work, so I get up around the same time in Vegas.

I love early mornings on the casino floor. No one hardly around, I get my choice of machines, a hot cup of joe and I am happy!

I am up in MN at 4:00 a.m. so even sleeping until 4:00 a.m. in Vegas is a challenge. I learned long ago not to fight it. I get up, mini-groom, get dressed, and head downstairs to hunt up coffee. I usually find a VP machine to play, and slop down coffee, smoke like a chimney and play VP until around 7:00 when I grab something to eat and head up to my room for breakfast and a shower. I love early mornings in Vegas. There are usually plenty of people ending their day, while mine is beginning and it's always fun to watch them.

I'm always up early in Vegas...but I sleep in everyday in Vegas.

Seriously...I am retired but work part time from home and my wife still works so I still get up w/ her at 5am everyday and have coffee and start work at 0600. So when I'm in Vegas, I get up about 6 but that is sleeping in 1 hour and 4 hours for my body clock. I've always been a morning person. We usually hit the sack about 11 at night.

I LOVE the morning. I'm a coffee/espresso freak and I enjoy getting my caffeine blast and going to my favorite DDB $1 machine/bank and doing what a degen does best. One thing I really like about the morning too is the casino is quiet and you can hear the music really well and Wynn plays some great music in the morning.

I think being a night owl sounds a lot more glamorous than being a morning person, but a morning person is what I am. There – I said it! Even as a little kid camping out in the back yard, by around midnight or so, I was ready to come indoors. Attending parties and events as an adult – same thing – it gets late and I'm ready to go home. That's evidently just my body clock and I usually feel terrible when I try to fight it. Therefore, even in Vegas, I'm usually down in the casino before sunrise having my first drink of the day with a little bar top VP before moving to BJ. As others have mentioned, I really enjoy the relative quietude of the casino that time of day. About the only disadvantage is that I'm sometimes not prepared for a head-on game (although I usually like them), and might delay sitting down at an empty table until a little later.

It would be too embarrassing to admit what time I go to bed; but it's good to remember that in 1735, Benjamin Franklin printed, "Early to bed and early to rise, makes a man healthy wealthy and wise."

Then again, in 1928, Carl Sandburg suggested that "Early to bed and early to rise and you never meet any prominent people." In 1939, James Thurber turned it round with, "Early to rise and early to bed makes a male healthy and wealthy and dead." (From The Phrase Finder) :D

I work graveyard shift, so my days and nights are always messed up. Never know when I will be up, or when I will go to bed.

My hours are soo random out there. It hard to tell if I'm going to bed at 5AM or waking up at 5AM. Either way, I don't sleep much and upon waking, it doesn't take long until I'm going hard at it right back in the thick of the place. Regardless, if it's early morning, I like to run the strip. If I don't, I'll lounge by the pool in the mornings (or both).

You took the words right out of my mouth. Plus coming from NJ it just adds to the mix.

Thats me too....and if I fight it and stay up, I'll usually get a second wind and do OK but then if I go to bed at say....2, I still will wake up at 6 and feel like crap the rest of the day:rolleyes2:

I finally learned to not fight it because all it does is screw up your vacation and worse case, you get sick.

We're used to staying Off-Strip, so by 3am it's DEAD, and so we just call it a night then...and we're back up at 9am and down on the floor at 10am (usually getting breakfast buffet)
However, this next trip, I think we're staying at Ceasers, so it'll be markedly different...

I love mornings for a few reasons.

    A) It usually means another whole day ahead of me in the greatest city in the world.

    B) I can use the rental car again(sober) and go out for breakfast somewhere and eat like a pig. When you only eat 2 meals a day you fill yourself up, so it's usually a buffet breakfast.

    C) Adventure time. We always use the morning to go see our house (being rented until we retire in a year), or to a park, canyon, plateau, shooting range, PHOF, far off casino, shopping.....somewhere.

I'm usually up by 8:30, will sit at a table for a bit or play DDB VP, grab some coffee, then to the valet for the car.

Our mornings in Vegas are about the same as home up at 6am down having coffee by 7-8am depending on how quickly we start moving. We enjoy the peacefulness in the mornings and there generally isn't anyone on the machines we want to play.

I like the mornings in Vegas. The first trip I went on, stayed at the Vdara and my GF and I were walking through the Bellagio. Some guy who I imagine was still drunk from the night before told me the ultimate Vegas secret, "put all your money on black" he said, "you'll win". Thanks drunk guy at the Bellagio.

I looooove Vegas mornings! We tend to wake up early because of the 2 hour time difference. I love the feel of walking out onto the strip on that first morning, especially in early spring or like right now...when it's still cool outside and feeling the breeze hit you. Man, it's great. In fact, one week from today I will be doing just that right about now. Woot!

Would love to wake up around 10 but sadly im always up around 7-8 and theres not much to do this early.

I grab a bite to eat and usually play the ponies for an hour or so, seems i never win anything on slots in the morning( i know it just random luck) but i always do better at night

For me Vegas is really only alive after sunset. I have little care for the town during the day and even on slow nights I'm barely in bed by 4am, often after sunrise. When I wake up I'll usually just chill out and take it slow until it gets dark again, that's when the real fun starts.

Funny thing is at home I've become a complete morning person and have a hard time sleeping past 6am regardless of what day it is or what time I went to bed.
