I have never found a good one, but Rollin Smoke' and Rib Cage are getting good reviews. I am going to give Rib Cage
my hard earned money in 2 weeks and will share my experience in a TR. You can get a discounted certificate for Rib
    Cage through KSHP.

Until going to Ellis Island BBQ (separate from the main restaurant), my favorite was BB Kings at Mirage, which is gone now.

I love EI BBQ...I think it beats BBkings.

Can't argue with that! Another favorite of ours is the pork BBQ sandwich at Suncoast on football Sundays. It's right next to the hotdog card by the sports book. It hurts to admit it living in GA, but it's better than any of the BBQ we've had around here!

Another vote for Ellis Island although we can never win gaming there.

What is/was the BBQ at Green Valley? I went there years ago. I believe it was outside. They had dry rub ribs, which I like. Is it still around?

I wasn't familiar with Rib Cage, so I looked it up on Yelp. According to the most recent review on there, it is now closed.

As for Rollin Smoke, I can vouch for that joint.....best barbeque I've had by far in Vegas. Come hungry though as you get a lot of food for the money.

    You're thinking of Lucille's.

They were around the last time I was down that way.

It does look like it opened and closed in a very short span of time.

Ellis Island is great, especially when you can combine it with the 2 for 1 coupon, assuming they still have this coupon in the LVA.

Tony Roma's, okay that was a joke. I agree with Westie, I have yet to find really good BBQ/rib joint in Las Vegas. I do like Ellis Island but more-so because it is a very good value, especially with a coupon. Could Ellis compete in a significant BBQ market like Memphis, KC, St. Louis, Dallas... not really.

Rollin' Smoke definitely earns the distinction of the best barbecue in Vegas. I spent many meals trying all the different places around Vegas, but Rollin' Smoke is now my go-to place and the only place in town I'll go for barbecue.

    Here's a review I wrote for a different board:

For a chain, Famous Daves is not bad, but they are all over the upper midwest.

When I'm in Las Vegas I want something VEGAS and not something I can get anywhere.

Rollin' Smoke, by far. Not as good as Texas BBQ, but damn good.

We loved that cart! Pick up a dog before a movie and get the pork sandwich before a football game. I don't recall exact prices, but I think a dog was $1.25 and the pork was $1.75. I'm sure it's gone up, that was 3+ years ago. Just another reason my cholesterol level went sky high in Vegas.:nono:

Ellis Island isn't BBQ, it's BBQ sauce on meat. Rollin' Smoke takes the honors for BBQ in Vegas.
