I'd say 15-20 total, all on video poker. I think highest in Vegas was $4000, three times on dollar machines. Several others, including some progressives. I play almost exclusively video poker as you can tell!

As to handpays for non taxable wins.... part of the reason is the machine. Some are not set the right way.

I know some operations types were working hard to stop it, one machine at a time, back when they were cutting down on the number of slot folks.

0 Hand pays (I have only been present for one, when my Brother in law hit a royal at Sam's last year). my biggest single win was $720 on a $0.25 slot at the Orleans about 5 years ago.

It is hard to have too much sympathy for those who complain about only winning a couple thousand on a hand pay.

Two, but only 1 in Vegas. Once at Mandalay Bay for $1500 and the other in AC for $800. Both were over 10 years ago, so I think I'm due for another one soon.

Oh yea,... maybe 20-30% of my handpays this year (50-60 overall) have been on penny slots.

    hand pays

I've been lucky enough to have at least 10. The best one was last year on a penny slot - jackpot 7s bonus - went all the way up those beautiful colored sevens and got the jackpot - $10700. $3.00 max bet - probably took me $50 to get it.... WOW was that cool!:faint::faint:

I only started playing machines this past year and since then have had like 4 or 5 but they were all shitty ones for $1250 usually when I was on tilt and playing $10 VP for $50 spin. I don't even know where I put all the W-2Gs. For those amounts this is just a hassle.

Well it depends on the bet. I saw someone playing a $100.00 Top Dollar machine. $200.00 per spin. The last offer (the one you have to take) was $2,000. It was a hand pay, but still only 10 times his bet. He was pissed! So you can see why some people say it was a shitty handpay.

All these years only 1 HP in Vegas for me. $10,365 at the Monte Carlo. But I've hit for $1,000 in Vegas about 4 or 5 times between Video Poker and $1.00 WOF

I thought this thread was supposed to be about true handpays, those requiring a W2G to be issued.

Crap, every quarter royal at MSS is a handpay for $1,000, but no W2G is issued.
