I bought 2 tickets for Zumanity Cirque show at NYNY for Oct. 19th 7:30 pm show. My wife now cant go on this vegas trip so looking to sell them since she wants to see it with me on our next trip. Is there a good way to go about this. They are section 102 Row D seats 16 and 17. I thought about going to stub hub but when I bought them I said I would pick them up at the ticket office so wont have them in my possession until oct. 17th at the earliest. So this makes stubhub option unavailable.

Is it possible to just stand about 50 feet from the ticket office at NYNY and try to sell them to people at a discounted price. I paid about 135 per and would take 100 per. I just don't want to take a complete bath on them. Any ideas or options. Thanks

Similar situation a few years ago. I called the ticket office and did a "Holy cow, did you know there is (gasp) nudity in this show???"

She refunded with no questions asked.

I had a pair of tickets that I didn't have in hand untill I arrived in Vegas. I just placed a craigslist ad and sold them that way. Caveat: all the usual means of protecting your privacy, weeding out spammers, and ensuring you don't get scammed apply. I intended on offering to meet them at the box office so they could veify the tickets and them running their cash through the casino bill changer in order to protect both of us. However I got lucky and the couple that ended up buying them were so obviously legit and they trusted me that we ended up not doing neither of those things.

FYI keep your BS radar on high sensitivity when dealing with CL ad people. ANYTHING that makes your spidey senses tingle or seems kinda odd is probably a scam of some kind.

Are these MyVegas tickets? They are almost the same exact seats we had in January!

No, but I purchased these exact seats on purpose to be next to another couple my wife is friends with that is going to be there the same time we are. I think they said they got theirs through myvegas.

As far as craigslist, that is a good idea, but I have never used craigslist and am kind of skeptical of trying that. I guess if worst comes to worst, I will be there 2 days before the show, so I can ask people at tables I am at if they are interested. Especially if I am playing with a couple at nyny for awhile.

Funny I was just going to say if you stuck them up here, somebody might want them. Good luck man! We had that an attraction once, just waited 100 feet out front of the attaction and said, hey are you going to the show, we have extra tickets would you like them for a cheaper rate?
Sold them to the first couple that walked up!!!

Good to know. I have no problem selling them at a nicely discount rate. I would take 75 for each if I had and I paid 135 per with tax. I will get there a couple days before the show so will have plenty of time to try to sell them. But Of course I don't want to spend to much time doing this. Will prob start at 100 per the first 2 days for 5-10 minutes each day. Then the last day go 75 per if I don't get any takers. And of course just making small talk to social people at the bj tables or the poker room and asking if anyone wants to see a cheap show might help also.

I'm a local in town and have had success finding buyers for people on this board. I'll send you a PM later tonight and see if I can help you offload these tickets.

That would be fantastic. I really appreciate any help. Maybe someone can get a good deal on good seats, and I can at least get something for these tickets without having to be scared about trying to scalp them outside the ticket office.

PM sent. No promises, but if you're willing to sell them at discount, chances are good someone will want them.
