    Hi,

Are there any breakfast buffets that are open at 5 or 6AM on the strip?

Being on East Coast time, 7AM is pretty late for breakfast!!

I'm surprised there isnt a 24 hour buffet....or is there one????

    Thanks

Personally I'd go to Mon Ami Gabi at Paris or Planet Dailies at PHo, I've only tried breakfast buffets a few times but I've always felt like I would have got better value for that meal by ordering from a menu.

I haven't seen any that are open before 7AM (and off strip most of them don't seem to open until 10 or 11AM).

I don't think a 24 hour buffet would work: wouldn't be profitable for them to keep cranking out food in the middle of the night plus I don't think they would have the customers: people generally tend to overindulge at buffets and most people won't want to go and stuff themselves until they are full at 2 or 3 AM, maybe an hour or two before bed.

They've tried 24/7s before and they haven't lasted. Does it have to be a buffet because that timeframe is prime for a coffee shop special.

    No I guess not!

What would be a good breakfast place right on the strip that would be open at 5 AM?

    Thanks

Café Bellagio or Central at Caesars Palace are the best of the 24 hour cafes IMO.

Others can weigh in on "graveyard specials" which will be available at that time.

I've always enjoyed breakfast at America @ NYNY. They should have late night/early morning specials as well.

I second Earl of Sandwich at PH. We have breakfast there almost every morning when we're on the strip. Since we often eat dinner buffets, one at breakfast time too would be a little much.

I know, I know...people come to Vegas to eat at places they don't see at home but....Denny's serves breakfast 24 hours a day and there are at least three that i know of. Two on the strip and one downtown. I met an Australian woman who had never been to one before and loved it.
