If I play $200+ a hand BJ and then decided to mess around on some penny slots, would that mess up my ADT or are they tracked separately? I'm trying to determine if this is the cause for my ass-like offers I've been receiving lately.
I overheard a pit boss tell a high limit slot player that she should probably not use her card playing table minimum at a UTH table once, since it would drop her avg, so I assume the same would hold true the other way around. However, I am curious if a $200 avg bet BJ player were to take a stab on a $100 slot ($200 max spin) on the way to/from a restroom break, would affect the adt negatively?
How could it affect ADT negatively? ADT can only go up with additional play. In terms of optics some high limit table players don't give their cards when playing low limit games so they don't reduce their average bet. Their ADT would go higher but they don't want to show a lower average bet to their hosts or whoever. Whether that really matters isn't completely clear. But they don't average your bets on tables with those on slots anyway. For what it's worth I know with Mlife as soon as they check your rating they do see your play from tables and play from machines broken out separately. When I get my rating info at the desk they tell me my avg bet, hours, and points earned from tables and my points earned from machines. Basically, you should be fine sticking your card in any machine you play no matter how little.
Just left Aria Friday and they had my table play and machine play listed separately. It should never hurt a table player to put your card in a slot or VP machine of any denomination.
You are correct. What I meant to say was "average bet". So you're saying that my average bet will not be lowered by $0.01 slot pulls? I know that if I bet $200+ BJ and then decide to mess around on $1 BJ with some friends that would royally screw up my average bet and wanted to know if slots did the same. Also on a side note, do hosts look at ADT or Average Bet for comps?
hosts look at theo and actual loss for comps. slots are tracked separately, so throwing a couple hundred in a machine won't affect your table games averages.
