What are your favorite low-cost, great-value restaurants?

I love Dupars at Golden Gate and Ellis Island BBQ! A full rack of ribs for $13.99 (some of the best-tasting out there) is phenomenal!

Sco, I think Pasta Pirate at California is a good value play. Granted, it's not super cheap like Ellis Island but they do have a good surf-n-turf special.

California consistently comes up for great value. I will have to try it next trip.

How is the pasta (spaghetti/fettucine) at Pasta Pirate?

I may not get out to South point but I have never dipped into Gold Coast cuisine despite several times staying. I will have to next time!

Sco, Pasta Pirate is good but not great.

While others will disagree, I think The Flame at El Cortez is a very good value and better than Pasta Pirate. However, it is only a good value if you have a coupon from American Casino Guide or LVA. You might be able to score a free coupon from someone on the board.

Ping Pang Pong I think it is ? At the Gold Coast they have dim sum for lunch.
They were rated in the top 5 I believe for Asian restaurants last year. I had
the midnight street rice last time and it was HOT and I like hot things. This was made me stop eating and cry hot. Edit: to add they were fairly cheap 3 to 6 dollars per dim sum. If you don't want the offerings
just decline and wait for the next one.

I'll second Primarily Prime Rib (South Point) and add Tacos El Gordo.

Here are my favorite value plays. Some need help, like coupons, others don't. It's up to you to decide which will work for you.

Ellis Island is a gem - besides the BBQ, their restaurant has the off-the-menu steak dinner and steak & eggs specials. In addition there are many menu items which are less than $10 (pork chops) which qualify for the ACG coupon. And don't forget 2-4-1 slices & pies at Metro Pizza on Thursdays.

The $7.77 steak & shrimp at Hard Rock's Mr Lucky's still is a great value.

I can't say for sure due to new ownership but Terribles/Silver Sevens Bouganvillea café had great specials.

The 50% off up to $25 ACG coupon makes The Flame at El Cortez an even better deal. You can combine the coupon with comp $ and points. Even without anything, it beats the hell out of any steakhouse on the Strip for value.

$5 burger, chips, & beer at El Co café.

Prime rib specials at El Co café, Magnolias at 4 Q, & Market Street at California.

Buffet at Gold Coast is a value play, especially with points promos.

$3.99 steak (or ham) & eggs at both locations of Arizona Charlies.

$1 hot dogs at El Co, South Point, Gold Coast, Orleans - near sportsbook.

Casino Royale play earns food comps you can use at Denny's in addition to freeplay. Check it out at 2 AM for people-watching. Now THAT'S value.

Those are my main deals. Thanks.

I also vote for the Prime Rib, Salad Bar and Cherries Jubiliee dinner. It's good food at a great value served at the Market Street Cafe at The Cal.

Kind of OT but does anyone remember the $1 hot dogs and beer at the old Barbary Coast? (when it was BC) I don't think there are any deals that even come close on the strip anymore. I noticed even the $1 margaritas are gone from Casino Royale - or at least they were when we went in May.

Yeah I remember the 2.99 prime rib when I first went t Vegas. Also had steak and 2 lobster tails for 6.99 at the four queens. Those days mostly seem gone, especially on the strip.

For you late night degenerates like myself I like America in NYNY because they have a steak dinner special from 12am to 5am for like $15 and from 9pm to 12am they have a crab leg special for a little less. I gamble so late at night I usually look up and its past 5am and I kick myself for missing my special and it has a bar for solo dining!!!!

    I will add
BillyBobs @ Sams Town; Their late-night 8:30pm-11pm Steak & Lobster Special
Also GoldCoast Buffet (almost any meal is value status)
I second the $1 hot dogs at South Point.

Just to clarify - the hot dogs at the South Point are only 75 cents, but people typically include a 25 cent tip for a total of $1 per doggie.

I never make it past the deli when I'm at the South Point, great gyros imo. Primarily Prime Rib is on the list, but haven't made it yet.

The hot dogs there are a solid value at a buck too.

That's as much as a resort fee. Skip one meal and you are good!
