    Hi all,

Will be staying there for first time this Saturday for 2 nights, using the Mlife offer for the Park King. Never stayed there before and would appreciate any brilliant New insights. In particular, anything to specifically ask for in room upgrade? For sure, I will be hitting up NFI and Nathan's. Is there some hidden gem I shouldn't miss?

I too will be staying there for the first time as well this weekend on a 2 night comp. I would really like a spa suite upgrade but on a comp I know that's unlikely. Looking to eat at gallaghers and maybe see zumanity.

    Big fan here too.

My favourite place to gamble and I love hanging out at the centre bar and just people watching whilst having a gargle:drunk:

We always venture into NFI just to compare it to home - good craic and banter to be had but the black stuff is NOT the same :nono:

    Have a ball

The mexican joint is very good and cheap. Happy hour specials on food at the sporting house can't be beat for the strip. The rollar coaster is a lot of fun. I haven't stayed there in years but make a visit on every trip and still think it is a very fun place to play. What's great is that it is so easy to get to other casinos from. Enjoy

Fultons is the bomb! We go out of our way for some fish and chips almost every trip.

Also, if you play slots. They have an old Munsters video slot for nickles. I can sit on there with a $20.00 for a long time racking up points. Its probably a 95% payback from the old days on the strip.

We really like Gallaghers. Il Fornaio (italian restaurant) is really good too. Definitely have breakfast at America one morning. There's a huge replica of the United States hanging from the ceiling. It's pretty cool! Greenberg's deli has some tasty sandwiches for lunch. Don't bother with the Nine Fine Irishmen. They are NOT that fine....yuck! We used to stay at NYNY all the time, but alas they need some major room remodeling. The Marquis Suite is pretty nice with a big jacuzzi tub. I pray that the escalators are in working order when you stay there. NYNY is notorious for having immobile escalators. Honestly, I believe it happened every time we have stayed there and that's been about 10 times! You picked a good location. Right across the street is the M&M store and Coca Cola store. Also, it's nice that in NYNY, you don't have to walk for 13 miles to get to your room. Have fun!!

And the hi/low or both fire bet. Put a buck on all 3 once. Very nice chunk of change considering that to hit it, the shooter has to be on quite a roll to begin with. One of my most memorable times at a craps table.

When you check in ask for a broadway/marquee room. The park avenue rooms are TINY.

Thanks for the tip wpete - I am a new craps player. The pit boss guy was unpleasant - but the dealers ROCKED! We played for 4 hours (maybe more) I had cuts on my elbow from leaning for so long.

To answer the question about always open? When we were there it started at $5 then about 6pm they switched it to a 10$ table. We got to play $5 as long as we did not leave. The only other $5 tables we could find were at Luxor. That too was a freaking blast. We looked all over for $5 tables. It seems they are not around after 5-6pm. Oh' and in July we found $5 at Bally's.
Headed back for my bday in Nov - got 3 days free from NYNY - might give it a shot. :)

The old Munsters slots were never good to me along with the original Austin Powers. However, for some reason, the old Twilight Zone slots were really good to me......"it opened another dimension".
