Looking at the early lines, here's what I like this week:

    NE-13 over the Jets - 2 stars
    Carolina-3 over Buffalo - 3 stars
    Dallas+3 over KC -1 star
    NO+3 over TBay -4 stars
    SF+3 over Seattle -5 stars

Probably narrow it down to 4 teams & key on 1 or 2 of them.

I have a hard time laying 13 points no matter who's playing.

I have a hard time with NE -13 especially with questions at RB and no Danny Amendola. Can't see them putting up much more than about 21-24 which makes -13 hard to cover.

And I have trouble with Dallas +3, this is a team than forced 6, that's right SIX turnovers and they were a few plays from losing that game at home. KC is a different team than last year with Andy Reid and Alex Smith and Arrowhead is always a formidable task. Also Dez Bryant is questionable so that isn't helping the Dallas cause. Not saying I love KC -3 but it's enough to stay away from Dallas +3 too.

I agree with the KC/Dallas game- looks like Romo is banged up as well, I'm going to stay away from that one.

But, I still like the Pats tonight at home - Geno Smith going on the road for the 1st time. I'm a WVU and watched him struggle on the road plenty of times. If the Pats get a chance to run up the score on Rex Ryan, it could be a big blowout.

Pats- Jets line scares me. Brady was hit numerous times against Buffy and the Jets pass rush is min 3x better. I never bet against my team but if someone put a gun or a 6pack to my head.....I'd have to take the jets. Ouch that hurt. (I hope to lose this bet)

If Geno falters, it looks like Sanchez wont be able to "bail him out". Reports are Sanchez is out for the year now with a labral tear in his shoulder.

think this was on another thread on this board. I VIRTUALLY GUARANTEED the Giants Broncos game over which happened. Thought the game would be closer but wasn't but i wished I did bet because I would have cleaned house on the Jint game over.

A couple of tough losses: Carolina blowing the cover & game in the last minute & New Orleans giving up a pick 6 when they are ready to score.
