Mandalay Bay is my favourite for the following reasons:

    Atmosphere.
Live music in the evenings in the casino.
Modern and well maintained overall property and Casino.
Mix lounge and foundation Room for a change of pace.
Spacious; never feel crowded or claustrophobic, the aisles accommodate even crowded nights very nicely.

    Variety of accommodations:
THEHotel, 4 Seasons, Mandalay Penthouse Suites, I've stayed in them all, depending if solo or with wife or a buddy each have their fit.

Perks when on penthouse floor; access to very nice VIP lounge.

    Dining choices:
Fine dining to pub food, they have it all.

    Pool:
Nicest pool on the strip, the private pool at 4 Seasons is also an option if you want a low key afternoon.

Host treats me very well. Offers are above my play in all honesty.

Quick ride to/from airport with little risk of tunnel shenanigans.

Location is the only "drawback" but I totally overlook this due to the value I get from above; and I am willing to spend 20 bucks return to get to Aria to start my mandatory strip crawl towards Cosmo, Bellagio, Mirage, Wynn, then back to Venetian, Paris Planet Hollywood then MGM and if I have the stamina NYNY.

I am partial to MGM properties and would consider Aria 2nd and if Wynn was an MGM property it would be a dog fight for 1st.

My favorite casino is probably the MGM. I've always just liked the vibe there and it's so big there's always stuff to do.

I'd consider the Wynn casino to be the "nicest" casino in Vegas.

For me, so far, it's Bellagio. They give me obscenely good marketing offers. I've stayed in a fountain view room, and a Bellagio Suite - loved them both. I like the slot machine choices there - a mix of old and new. I like the food options there. We aren't foodies so like to do the buffet, Snacks at the sportsbook, Palio, etc. The location is great as well.

The first place I ever stayed was Planet Hollywood and it probably remains my favourite. Great casino, great mall (miracle mile) and I just really enjoyed the atmosphere. The last time I was in Vegas I stayed at the Mirage, and I'm staying there again in October, so it's quickly growing on me, but for now, my answer is PH

This is really hard to pick for me. I am partial to Caesars because my parents were always Diamond members and we stayed there all of my visits before I was of legal gambling age. Also think their sports book is the most fun atmosphere to watch a game.

But for now I would say my favorite is Aria. I like the options of games to play there including what is probably the best poker room in town besides Bellagio.

Recently I stayed at Vdara for the first time, if I had to pick my favorite hotel room they would win.

    The Stardust:cry::cry::cry:

Now I'll have to say Caesars. Lot of good memories there - awesome honeymoon in a suite, first big slot win, stayed there exclusively until the gambling started to suck. But I still visit. Love the feel, decor, even the smell. Thinking about surprising wifey with a night there this upcoming trip.

    To stay at: Mirage

My favorite casino however, is the Paris - even tho I've never stayed there and I've never really won much there either. I just like the look and feel of the casino inside

We're not big gamblers by any means and use the reduced rates when they get offered. Aria hands down. It has the feel of high end w/o having to spend on the high end.

I'm also debating to go to Vdara next time. Hurr1cane any real noticeable downside with them?

I have to say Flamingo. It's not the nicest or newest or most modern, but we just feel comfortable there for these reasons:

    1. There is still something classically Vegas-y about it.
    2. We can always get a GO room with any view we want comped and we love the kitchiness of those rooms. They just feel Vegas-y to us.
    3. We feel like a "medium fish" in a small pond instead of going to a really high end place, which we could afford if we wanted to, and feeling like a very tiny fish.
    4. We can always find slot games we love to play.
    5. The location can't be beat (for us) since it's so easy to get to all other CET properties from there.
    6. We love the wildlife habitat.
    7. Everyone is always super friendly to us there, also.

It just fits us (for now at least).

To me, no. Some will say the walk to Aria or Bellagio is long (if your a slow walker maybe 10 minutes?) but for me this isn't an issue. To some it might get old to always have to walk somewhere to gamble.

But I thought the room was really nice and extremely clean. Also being able to go down to the cafe or bar and not have to walk through a smoke filled casino is great. I don't have a huge problem with smoking but when I am going to get breakfast in the morning it isn't something I need to deal with.

For me it's SteveCore. I guess I'd put Aria as a 2nd for vibe and location.

    Ditto.

I love the rooms, the casino, all that red. But the best thing about the place is the people. Everyone is (IMO) noticeably friendlier than any other hotel/casino in Vegas. And it surprises me every time I’m there how many people (in such a huge place) remember my name. (Perhaps that speaks more to my level of degeneracy though…)

I also dig the fact that Wynn and Encore have such a different vibe. It’s nice to be able to “change things up” so much without leaving the building.

My next favorites are Aria and Palazzo. And, up until the transformation to the Quad, I always had a soft spot for IP. A hole to be sure…but a friendly hole (and the first place to comp me a room)!

I'll second that too:nworthy: And also add....I have never stepped foot in a cleaner casino....people are cleaning the finger prints off of machines right after you leave so it shines for the next donor:evillaugh

I'm still sometimes wondering why am I not staying there on this next trip?:poke:

All around favorite has to be Bellagio. I think it has the perfect mix of everything: best craps, dining, and overall atmosphere for someone my age. Second would have to be Wynn/Encore. Nicest hotel property I have ever stayed in.

Aria, Bellagio, and Caesars Palace--probably in that order.

Have only stayed at the Encore, Signature and Vdara and looking forward to a up-coming stay at the Aria. Our first stay was at the Encore about three years ago which started our love affair with trips to Vegas. Based on the premise of remembering a first love I'd have to give the nod to Encore...beautiful hotel, grounds, restaurants and everything I could ever want in gaming.

    Hub: Palazzo

    Me: Wynn

Hub edit: When wife asked the question, I was just considering the casino. If we are talking the whole property then Wynncore gets my vote. Palazzo has a nicer casino with better drink service, but I just feel comfortable at Steve's place. The restaurants are better too.

A friend of mine worked at Wynn and said that they keep the employee areas just as clean.

I also love Mandalay/THEhotel. It's such a great complex and you really don't even have to go outside. Not the best part of the strip, which I would take Bally's, Bellagio, Caesars or Flamingo.
