    I think it is the same place. The shave ice stand is in the far corner of the restaurant, immediately on the left as you walk in, and the big lunch counter would be in the center of the restaurant. The Kress st. address rings a bell. It wouldn't be a menu item, the shave ice is just a little counter in the very corner of the restaurant. I remember the big bowls of saimin also.
