    UPDATE:

Now that the water from the flooding is receding, we have encountered some extensive and unforeseen damages to our 3 courses. Therefore, in order to provide our customers the best product possible, the Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort will remain closed and are hoping to have golf available on OCTOBER 1st, 2013.

We appreciate the outpouring of kind words of encouragement and support that everyone has given us. Thank you for your patience and patronage.

    Whoa? That's unfortunate.
I always wondered while driving in on the road going to the clubhouse and through those little drainage dips what would happen with a flash flood down from the mountain. Guess I know now.
Pics would be worth seeing. Thanks for the heads up.

    Wow that's quite a bummer.
I just played there a couple weeks ago and the place was in great shape!!! Would definitely spend another day playing 36 out there

Hope they get it turned around quickly

I can't imagine the damage, especially if they're closing for close to 5 weeks... If I come across any pictures, I'll definitely post them...

We were out there once, finishing 16 on Snow and watching Mt. Chas flashing like Times Square. By the time we got to 18 the rain was sideways and waves were breaking on the 10th fairway. Long story short, they held everyone there for about three hours simply because we couldn't get back to the highway. Small beans compared to this but understandable in the desert. I was down in La Quinta yesterday and the roads were packed with sand from the gullywashers that tore through there earlier this week, and heading down to SD I went around rather than over the top because of the afternoon storms stacked up against the Santa Rosas.
