If, I weren't platinum (with the offers and no resort fees) with CET I would say the best $ value casino on the strip is the Riveria. A good location and bus service is great, nice size pool, free USA Today, fridge in room plus other goodies. Sometimes rates are $20 pd during the week and if booked thru marketing no resort fee.

Each person has a different definition of value, the answer will be different depending on who you ask. Myself, I would not stay at the Riv even if you paid me. It is not what I want to do. What Wynncore gives you for the dollar however, is an awsome value in my eyes.

Ballys, Flamingo, Luxor, Maybe Trop. Maybe not the cheapest but cheapest with location and not holes.

that's debatable to say the least.

value is in the eye of the beholder. I think for my comp dollar, the 2BR Mansion is the best value. can't beat $1200/night for a 2BR with everything you get. that's a way cheaper price than a 2BR penthouse level suite at any of the other 5 star hotels in town and you get way more.

Best value for automobiles is a Corvette. Where else can you buy race car performance for only 50 G's, without having to shell out any R&D money. Also cheaper than any other exotics. Pure value I say! Everyone should drive one, let the kids walk to school!

Also, I agree value is in the eye of the beholder. Riv may be a good price but it's location outweighs the benefits to me anyways. Harrahs, Ballys, Flamingo and even Excal and MC get my nod for value bu I'm looking for location and convenience just after price.

Best value for the dollar is having a TR card at CET properties. You can get free rooms like i do Sun-Fri any week of the year at 5 properties and still only have a Gold card. I stayed at Rio in May free, at Caesars in Aug. free, and again in Nov. at Bally's free. THEN, if you want to, offer a sandwich to upgrade a room. The resort fees ($10-$25+tax, can be canceled out (or even better) because you got the room for free.
By using the TR card online using the rate calender, that is the best value for the dollar. I was able to spend a week at Caesars Palace for absolutely nothing........and i'm a low roller at Gold. I like free stuff.

Personally, I think the best value on the Strip is Aria because I always book my stays there through my Virtuoso agent. The benefits alone make it as if I'm paying nothing.

You make this same exact post at least several times per week. Just an observation.

This trip, Luxor was the best value for me ($198 for Sat-Wed), but my last trip Bally's had the best value (TravelZoo deal that included 2 buffet passes per day).

I'm a downtown guy these days, but back in my strip-days, the I/P (Quad now), Flamingo & Harrah's were the best center-strip 'value' casinos.

A notch up from that was Bally's...then Mirage.

But, as was mentioned up-thread, if you even have a 'Gold' TR card, go to the website and look at the 'calendar' listing.

Pick the nicest that you want/can afford...or that is comped.

The notion of paying for a room when I can get one 'free' (or almost free) just goes against my nature.

If I had to pay for a room on the Strip, I'd probably pick Bally's.

Yea I wouldn't stay at Rivera for anything...

It depends. Nearly everything in Vegas is a great value when you compare it to other cities.

Best value hotel rooms I'd say Vdara and Trump, yes, no Casino, but for the size and quality of the room it's definitely the best bang for your buck. I paid $105 for the Trump on a Saturday. 5 star hotel suite can't beat it.

Best value overall I'd probably go with something like Luxor (or I guess Monte Carlo, I just prefer Luxor). You can stay there for $28, it's a decent good location, the rooms are decent (especially the tower rooms), the hotel itself has some decent dining options, the casino is somewhat remodeled, they have a great variety of shows.

I don't see "value" in players cards.. I mean yes, you should have one, to get better rates if you are a gambler, but if I gambled hundreds of dollars to get a free $65 room it's not a value haha. Also seriously, you get for crap for being the lowest tiers, I don't believe all of you saying you don't gamble hardly at all and you get free rooms. You have to spend thousands of dollars a year to get free stuff.

    he's obviously a CET fanboy.

well, then again, maybe he's a CET employee that's spying on us and reporting back to the suits who are tracking our every move! run before the slot machines spring legs and chase us!!!!!

Define low roller. There are people here who describe their gambling habits at CET props and say all they get is Imperial Palace and the other low rent joints free midweek. Their habits are beyond what I would consider low roller too. You are saying you are getting upwards of a week free at CP... the most expensive of the CET properties. What do you play, how many hours, how much coin in per day do you think?

It is just hard to believe you are getting everything comped without feeding a few grand into slot machines.

Pretty cool. A week at CP like Mon to Sun? 6-7 day week? I like that.

A agree with the bolded part 100%.

Pretty sure if you spent enough time on this posting, you will find at least 20 different answers.

Not sure what the real question is then?

In my opinion I find the best value at The Mirage. I like the tower deluxe rooms and can usually catch an upgrade to them. I also enjoy the casino and sports book quite a bit.

But where I really find my value is that I love that end of the strip. Everything is seemingly closer together so I can bounce around a lot of places without a couple of Sherpa's helping me make the trek.

Personally I think low roller is used quite loosely around here. A budget upward of $500/day isn't low roller to me, but I would hope that would be enough for comped rooms at Caesars.

I have played enough at Quad once to get one free weeknight there after playing 18 hours of live poker there on one trip plus maybe 50 Tier of nickel video poker. I am an ultra-low roller. CET comps live poker horribly though. Slots are the easiest to gain comps obv. And from what I have read elsewhere, comps will start improving once you hit a 100 Tier/day average. Anything lower than this, you probably won't get much. And getting Caesars for free should take a good more than 100 Tier/day.
