Since hubby & I do not normally do high-end dining while in LV.....thought I would check with the experts on here for suggestions on where to use our dining comp on our next trip to LV. Hubby loves a good steak....me, not so much....usually choose chicken or seafood. We prefer someplace that we can dress casually - not necessarily short & Tshirts but not real dressy and keep the cost to about $150 for the both of us. Will use our earned comps to cover the rest of the tab over the $100. We are not wine drinkers so it would be food & soft drinks only. Looking for the best dining experience possible - food & service. Would love to hear what restaurants fit our needs that you really enjoyed. Thanks so much!!

Wow. There's probably a place in every casino, 2 on every corner that would fit that bill. I'm not to be much help since I usually eat at buffets with the occasional high end restaurant for special occasions. But one of my favorite places to eat is Mon Ami Gabi at Paris. A couple of nice dinners with non-alcohol drinks will probably run you $150-175 with tip.

I believe they gave me a list of places where we could go. Ay of the steakhouses are fine. They describe the dress code as business casual. They won't turn you away, even in shorts.

You might want to try Ballly's steakhouse before its gone.

They do give a list. Mon Ami Gabi isn't on it. Here's a copy from late June:

Thanks everyone! Since we are staying at Bally's and their steakhouse should be closed by the time we get there (not sure the new one is due to be completed either).....think Gordon Ramsey might fit the bill.....hubby has heard that StripHouse at PH is good also. Think I will just let him decide when we get there. :).... he's not the planner that I am... lol.

We were very much in the same situation. $100 diamond dinner and didn't know where to go for a real nice, delectable dinner, yet still fairly casual. We happened upon La Provencal in between Bally's and Paris. I had a 16oz strip steak that was absolutely mouth watering while my wife had a chicken dish. The atmosphere was very nice and the service was great. We had cocktails with dinner, and appetizer and coffee afterwards and the chef even sent out some fried cheese ball in sauce treat that was delicious. We moaned all dinner long with each bite, and the whole bill came out to $102, perfect for our comp dinner amount. Left cash for the tip and rolled out of there with a full stomach.

We didn't expect much, yet we got a great dinner. It's certainly worth checking out. That was 4 weeks ago.

LaProvencal does not get any love here---matter of fact no notice at all, but we have eaten there several times. Their fixed price early meal is quite good and very reasonable. The regular menu is excellent too. It is a cute place and deserves much more attention.

Wow - thanks for the tips on LaProvencal! Have walked by it hundreds of times & noticed many happy faces but never thought it might have a good steak for hubby. Have to put this on the list. :):)

A different question - we will be traveling with another couple and one of them is also Diamond. Any problem with us both using our $100 comp for the same meal?
