Video Poker ARGH! Royal Flush!

So I will be going to Vegas in about a week and wanted to practice VP on my iPad. Fired up WinPoker to get my Boner Poker (shout out to RF) skills up to speed.

Well I just drew the Jack of Clubs and junk. Held the Jack and...yup...Royal Flush...Just great...

Argh! Got save that sh*t for Vegas!!!!

I find that how I do on my practice VP shortly before Vegas is a sign of the times to come. This was just preparing you for the RF you will be getting in 8 days.

I know previous play has not effect on future outcome, but I could swear that every time I hit 4 aces w/kicker on the trip there, I've hit it again on a TDB on day one.

 

Just play another 40,000+ practice hands before you get there, and you should be fine!

I understand how you feel. I have probably got 8 Royals at play money games at videopoker.com this year (some games are 50/100 play), but none in the casino for 11 months...meh

Here is my most brutal play money hit this year via playerslife.com; I was definitely pissed even though I know it's random and is just as likely to happen in the future.

Good luck on your upcoming trip. Sometimes when I practice before a trip and get lots of good stuff, I just KNOW the trend will continue and I'll have good luck on the trip. Other times, when I practice before a trip and get nothing, I think I'm saving the good stuff for the trip. So, either way, I look forward with optimism. You should too.
