What if my next trip is planned for January 26-31. I am looking to use 3 room rewards for the nights of 26, 27, 28 then paying cash for the nights of 29 and 30.

When should I start the process of redeeming my room rewards? I get tripped up with the whole 90-day thing. Is redeeming the same as actually booking the rooms?

    Please help! Thanks!

    to VegasGroove...
if you have enough points for the room reward that you want for january, you can go ahead and redeem now and then call the number that you are given to make your reservations at the hotel. Just be sure that those are the days you want because once you call and make the reservation you can not get a refund of your LPs

    Nice! Thanks g8rb8k8!

Oh, one other question. How about if my dates change to February? Am I allowed to change dates (providing they are available)?

also...there was a Q and A last night with one of the MyVegas reps and I'm not sure if your dates fall within the "bonus room" days, but if so, you can now redeem 3 bonus room nights back to back to back.
When you call to make your reservations just tell them that you want to link your paid nights with your reward nights and there shouldn't be any issues. From what i've read, the worst case scenario is that you may have to go to registration desk and have them redo the key instead of you having to "check out" and "check in" with the reservation(s) that you will have.

I just booked 2 nights at Aria March 30th & 31st using 2 comp night bonus rooms. They said the reservation could not be changed or cancelled.

Good to know, i thought the 90 days thing meant we could not book until 90 days before.

    No Refunds

So if your dates change you can't get your points back? I may have to change my dates so I have just lost the points I used to book a Bonus Room?

    Oh no.

If you cancel, once you have "redeemed" your Loyality Points to book a room or show, you will not get your points back.

Good thing about room rewards is booking 6mo out but bad thing is if plans change you can't change or cancel for a refund

How can they possibly tell you a reservation can not be cancelled?

I can see losing your lp's but what are they going to do to you if something occurs and you can't make the reservation?

I just took it as they meant I can't cancel it and get my LPs back or make any changes.

Right...so if you have a family emergency or plans change you are just SOL?? Most people want to make reservations at least a couple of months before their trip (I realize not all), but if you wait until the last minute, you may not be able to secure the bonus dates.

Seems kind of unfair to me.

Midweek Comp Room vs Midweek Comp Room Bonus?

    Hi all,

I'm hoping to use 1 night's stay before a convention in Vegas at Mandalay. I have plenty of credits for either Luxor, Excalibur, or NYNY for a Midweek (Monday night) Comp Room. However, I don't know the difference between Midweek Comp Room or Midweek Comp Room Bonus. The Bonus is less credits-- but are there more strings attached?

    Thank you,
    bryan1650t

Hi Bryan. Welcome to the boards. That question has been asked literally hundreds of times. There is a calendar that shows the different dates available for comp rooms and comp bonus rooms. If you click on the reward it will show you a link to check the calendar like Luxor.com/myvegasdates. Have fun!
