Hey Guys, Long time lurker here. I was curious if anybody has had any luck trying to negotiate their Mlife comp offers? I am planning a last minute solo Vegas trip in September, but the offers I have are all over the place. I'm not a High Roller, but I do lose between 2k-3k a trip. But its so quick usually that I don't qualify for great offers. I have 2 comp nights at NYNY +$50 free play. Or 3 nights on select dates at Monte Carlo. Or 2 nights midweek at Luxor. I've never gambled at NyNy ever in my life, but somehow my best offer is there. I've played $25/hand at blackjack for hours before at Mandalay Bay and can't get more than a reduced rate. So basically, would it be possible for me to call up one of these casinos and try to negotiate a better offer than the Mlife website shows? I'd really like to maybe get an extra free night on my NyNy offer, or maybe get like 5 nights comped at one of their lower tier properties (luxor or excalibur). I'd love to hear what some of you might have been able to achieve with a little persuasion. Also, I don't have a host. I just call the number that is listed on each offer to book my rooms. Thanks for any input!
I lose about the same and don't have any offers to speak of at all, but I think MyVegas takes away all my MLife play.
your bettter off with cet at 25$ a hand tons off free rooms. ps mgm wont comp 5 nites straight for most players only 3 then they review your play at check out and take off what they feel you deserve. you can call any casino and ask for host on duty give your players number and they will see if they can help you for any property
losing 2-3k quick gets you nothing. hell, losing 70k quick gets you not much more. you have to lose six figures plus before they start to take that into account for your offers. but of course you can call whatever property you want and see if you can get them to do better. but at $25/hand for short time, you're likely SOL.
I believe the information given by shifter. I was told by an mlife host that to even be considered for a comped suite, as a table game player, they want to see at least 4 hours of play per day with an average bet of $250 a hand.
This has a lot to do with the specific mlife property. A suite at nyny is easier to get than a suite at aria or bellagio. Just focus the play at the hotel u want to stay at in the future And take what ever free stuff u have now
You can always call and ask. They send me offers pretty regularly, but when it comes time to book I just call the number for the hotel on the back of my MLife card and give them my dates. From that they go over what offers I have available and what they can do based on the history of my play. Sometimes I can get extra nights comped up front, but depending on the property it may be at the expense of some other part of an offer, IE: might have to give up some or all of my free play for 2 or 3 more nights comped up front. But one of the big things with improving offers is that you need to concentrate your play at only a few places. If you spread your play around your overall offers will suffer, but by concentrating your play at one or two properties will increase what offers they send you - but note that there is a cost to that in the offers you get from other properties will go down.
My corporate offers are 3 nights but a call to my host always gets 2 additional nights comped up front.
yes but not at his level of play. you have a history with the host so its a big difference they know your play ,hes a 25$ a hand player no host big differnce
That being said, NYNY has been weirdly desperate-seeming for me. My bankroll is probably around or a little above where the OP's is; I usually get rated for around $75-100 at craps, minimum a couple hours a day depending on how I'm feeling, plus a little bartop VP for cocktails and occasional $25 blackjack, and NYNY is the only property that offers me multiple comp nights with freeplay. This despite staying there for one night about 8 years ago and never gambling a dime at the property. I've never understood their marketing strategy.
Thanks for all the responses everyone. I guess my best bet is to just call the number on the back of the card, let them know my dates, and see what the best deal they can give me is. Historically I've always just called the number on the offer and booked that way. It seems to direct me to the mlife desk at that particular casino/hotel. Probably calling the more general Mlife number will net me better results. Thanks again!
I get free suites all the time, and I've never averaged $250 a hand. It just depends on the property. Monte Carlo will tell you they want $150 per hand for a suite, but they've taken care of me when I played $90 a hand. NYNY is in the same category. $114 a hand for 4 hours a day on one trip got me a suite at Mirage the next trip.
