    My Trip Report

    Short 3-day trip. Overall a losing trip, but still had lots of fun.

    Departed Salt Lake City on the Southwest Shamus plane:

    Had some random fun with friends:

    The last day, since I had no bankroll left, just hung in the room and got room service and watched TV/rented a movie.

    Next trip: 8/30 - 9/3 staying at MGM Grand.

    No, I had no freeplay whatsoever. I don't get any freeplay from MLife properties anymore.

    Joe - the only additional details are that I was never ahead at all during the trip. I had markers out and when I hit the jackpots, I paid them back but was still in the hole. :grrr:

    Kim, do you have any good room, casino or pool photos or thoughts on Aria in general? I know Farking Idiot here on the board has a thread asking questions about Aria and is thinking of staying there and would probably love to hear any thoughts you have...good or bad.

    Dean - if you look through some of my previous trip reports, I've posted pics of the corner suites at Aria. I love the rooms and atmosphere of Aria.

    I don't do the pool, so no pics of that. The casino is laid out really well and is darker than other casinos, IMO.

    The restaurants at Aria are top notch! :thumbsup:

    Definitely stay at Aria if you never have.

    Nice wins! That Double Strike game looks fun.


    The Aria has an atmosphere like no other casino. Just stayed at THEHotel and Cosmo - still prefer the Aria. ...had to visit a few times during our trip last week. :)

    I guess after taxes it really didn't amount to much or you were really hitting the machines hard.

    I agree, Aria is my favorite as well, have a trip planned there next week, arrive the 28th, just staying 4 nights though. I really like the atmosphere and layout of Aria as well and the rooms are top notch.

    I have only been to vegas one other time but we visited them all during that trip just to check em out and Aria was by far our favorite.
