My first stay was less game play but I gained 37000 tier credits. So I was pearl going into my last visit. This past trip, I gained 14000 tier credits. I played over 20 hours. I lost over $3000 with an average bet of $100-200 (not including passline odds). Not a good feeling but it happens. I have tried to contact mlife about the tier credits but they just passed the buck over to the casino where I stayed (no response). My question is: Does a $3000 loss, equate to only 14000 tier credit points?

It's not based on loss it's based on theo. From what I learned during my last trip it was 30 TCs per $1 theo for table games. So your 14000 TCs sounds very low for 20 hours of 100-200 craps. 14000 TCs would equate to less than $500 theo.

It's possible that number (30 TCs per $1 theo) has changed and they just showed me gave me outdated info. However it seemed to jive with my numbers and other people as well.

In any case you should press them on it because others have had experiences getting shortchanged on TCs and getting it fixed after they called.

Did you check with the pitboss to see what he actually rated you at?

Craps is a hard game for the pit boss to keep track of all of your bets...he might have under rated you

No. I did not. I assumed that since my first trip was somewhat accurate, that this trip would be the same.

also, odds do not count towards average bet. You may be seriously overestimating your avg bet

If you put out a $25 bet and then put down $75 odds on it, your bet for rating purposes is $25, not $100.

Not including odds. I usually start off with a minimum off 85 across with remaining 4 chips on hardways. 15 on the pass line. 100 bucks, plus odds, plus carnival bets. I press hard along the way. That's my style. If that helps. Sometimes I bet more after the point is established. Depends on the shooter.

They definitely should rate you better than 14,000 TC. What percentage was on odds and how much on the pass? Regardless ... seems like they may have missed something, which definitely can happen at a busy craps table.

Okay, you are new here. I get that.

But - please scan through the posts and you will find that comps/points/credits have zero to do with loss. It is all based on daily average play, also known as ADT or THEO.

15 hours at $140 got me more than 50,000 TCs. Most of that was craps...maybe an hour was BJ.

My jan trip to the mirage was 35 hours at $212 with a 6000 theo. Mostly craps with a little BJ and pi gow thrown in. My tc's were around 180,000. Sounds like they shorted you. That's close to how I play
