    Thanks.

Hopefully in Sept the "wheel" won't be a full circle as that would be a cool pic to add to my collection.

I'm looking forward to the completion and operation of the wheel. I'm hoping it infuses some of the "fun feel" back into the strip that a lot of us miss.

They could only wish to rid themselves of the ugly Imperial Palace building that sits in the back of that picture in reality. It just doesn't look right with the Linq's modern look.

I guess maybe this means they will just knock it down? :)

The progress on the wheel was done in about a week, maybe a week and a half, from my estimate watching the live progress cam on their site. I bet it is done in less than a month. I would love it not being a complete circle as well, but I go Aug 28 and don't see that happening.

    Road Trip!

Who's with me? Are we just gonna give up because the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?

Taken out of context, this is only the circular pattern, the whole thing is still gonna take forever.

They have added about 1/16th of the wheel since I posted this 2 days ago to give you an idea, even with weekends off it will be a circle by end of month.

    About 1/3 circularly complete.

I'll be there for an impromptu trip Aug 24. Not just for this but the collective reasons that total the embodiment of Las Vegas.

Right on, thanks for the cool angle. As of today, we're 30 days out from travel. I'm wondering if they'll have the wheel complete by then.

Maybe if they shape it like PacMan it can eat the IP.

Looks like 48.75% in the round.

One of the better views is from a Flamingo tower on the 25th floor I'll revisit on Aug 24.

I can't wait until the Aliens invade, blow up a few thousand heads, and this wheel careens down the strip, crushing everyone below.

At some point it will hopefully cause an explosion, as well.

When the dust clears the only building left standing will be The Harmon.
