Finally, after months of preparation, the time has come, getting married on Friday, and flying to Vegas on Sunday from UK! Staying in Encore tower suites. I already know about asking for a room away from club noise, but any other tips from anyone who has been there? Last time I was at bellagio, and I didn't like how crowded it was, hence why chose the Encore. Thanks!

Don't expect your drink to be comp'd while playing VP at any of the bar tops at either Wynn or Encore. (On the casino floor drinks are comp'd as usual though.) On the plus side, the bar tops have excellent pay tables. So, if you aren't drinking they're a great place to play VP.

Cab lines can get a bit long in the late afternoon as the kids from Encore Beach Club head back to their hotel. Not a big deal usually - just make sure to give yourself an extra five minutes or so if you have a show or early dinner reservations to get to. Or better yet, use the cab stand in the Tower Suites.

Make sure to hit Parasol Up or Parasol Down (at Wynn) for some fantastic cocktails, delicious snack mix and potato chips and great people watching.

If the crowds bothered you at Bellagio, you've picked the perfect place. Encore is great for relaxing and getting away from the craziness of the rest of the strip.

I'm a big fan of the Tower Suites at Wynn...a little quieter, even better service than the already excellent Wynncore service...good stuff. I'll be trying the TS at Encore for the first time in a few weeks.

Congrats on the upcoming wedding and have a great trip - I'm sure you'll love Encore...just leave a few dollars for me to take from them in a few weeks.

Make sure to mention you were just married and slip them a $20. my guess is since you are getting in on a Sunday you could get a real nice upgrade! Congrats!

congrats, mtm103! agree with vegasdave, make sure you tell them you are flying all the way there from UK for your honeymoon. you probably don't even need to slip the $20 but still get a high floor corner room with golf course/mountain view. the $20 might get you a champagne, a fruit basket or whatnot. can't wait to see your trip report .
