I searched back and found an entry from 2010 that said there were coffee pots in the rooms but a lot has changed since then.

Still coffee pots in Harrah's rooms?

I don't know why but this question made me laugh. According to some users over on the TA board, newly renovated rooms have coffee makers in them. I think you have to ask to be "upgraded" to get these rooms though.

Probably not a good idea to use a coffee maker in a Las Vegas hotel.

I've read too many stories of college kids pissing in them. Saw a few videos too. Beware.

Suites and the top priced reg rooms have them, lower class regular rooms do NOT. The ones with a redone room description had them last I knew.

I would NEVER use a coffee pot in a hotel room. You never know what people have done in those pots. I just don't trust people that much and I don't need coffee that much.

Yep. Trip Advisor. If you're going to brew in the room, please take your own high-quality coffee with you. I can't stand to imagine someone having to slurp down that crap they leave in the room just to get some caffeine on the cheap!

Actually, I think (for the first time ever), I'm gonna pack my 4-cup maker and some freshly-ground bean with me on this next trip.
    Thanks for the idea!

That's one thing we never leave home without, as well as a cooler bag so we can keep the real cream in it and not that awful powder stuff. We also make a stop at the drug store and get some fruit and yogurt so there is no need to rush out first thing in the morning to get something to eat. You would be surprised at how much easier it starts the day off when you've had that little bit of caffeine and eats before you strike out for the day.

I scour that coffee pot before using. Also bring my own good coffee and pick up some breakfast food. Starts the day off right.
