Spice market buffet.

What is this buffet like? What sort of things is in the Asian section? As I like indian food and I guess it's kinds similar lol

 

They had the usual - fried rice, lo-mein noodles, egg rolls, 2 soups, orange chicken or generals chicken, beef & broccoli, dumplings, bbq ribs. Did not try most but the noodles & generals chicken were pretty good.

 

The "indian" food is in the middle eastern section not the asian section. I guess they've never looked at a map. I put indian in quotes because there's nothing much there. In the kebabs section they have a tandoori chicken one and they have a couple of curries which could be described as sort of Indian. It was all good but don't go expecting Indian offerings. There was a dish of tomatoes stuffed with ground lamb which was good. If you're diamond or above they have a special seating area and its right near this middle eastern section.

The Aria buffet has a section labeled Indian but it is also very limited. A couple of curries like chicken tikka and one or two others including veggie, naan, rice, a daal or two, raita, and maybe some tandoori offering. I can't remember but they did have a tandoor for the naan and maybe for some meat as well. Buffet style to suit anyone's palate so fairly bland, don't go expecting some spice. But it's the first and only buffet in Vegas right now to offer an indian section.

IMO, the kabobs are outstanding and worth the price of admission. Others may disagree, but those alone separate PH from the middle of the pack buffets.

 

Personally, I think the kabobs are just OK, but the tomatoes stuffed with ground lamb are pretty darn good.

Keep in mind it's all still buffet food so you're probably not going to be blown away by it or anything, but I would argue that the Spice Market is probably the best value on the Strip, if you take into account that widely available $5 off coupon.

 

I go off my diet for the lamb at this buffet.
My other two favorites are the mushroom raggot and the tempura shrimp.

A couple figs are easy to take as well.

 

So it's not mainly sea food like I have read? As I am not a sea food fan!

 

How would you rate it for breakfast? Do they do a brunch on weekends? A year ago, 3 of us had breakfast in their coffee shop and for standard omelets with coffee, $50.

 

Is the Summers Favorites Menu every day during Lunch and Dinner?

Im lucky to be going in a few weeks and have a couple free 24hr passes. Wasnt that excited about them til I saw the amazing BBQ/Seafood menu for summer.

that looks yummy! there website doesnt say if its for lunch or dinner so i think it must be served during both but i will check and report back if no one else does before me. spice market is one of my favorite.
