Saw a thread about the downtown shave . I had a shave a a few trips back at the Art Of Shaving. This was great and my first time, $70 with tip . I would like a early morning shave with less cost. Any suggestions? I have seen a few shops in the casino malls . I never would do this at home just another vegas experience

If you are downtown you can get a straight razor shave at the barber shop on the 2nd floor of the El Cortez. I think it is like $20 or so.

I've had shaves at Aria, Bellagio, El Cortez, and MB's Art of shaving.

All the shaves on the strip are about the same price that you quoted. As noted above, El Cortez is cheaper by far.

MB has the best overall experience in my opinion followed by Bellagio. Aria's spa is nice, but the quality of the shave was a little lack luster for me.

I'm heading to Vegas in October and was actually thinking about finding a place to get a straight razor shave, and maybe a haircut. I was particularly looking at MB's Art of Shaving. Would love to know what a standard tip for each of these would be? Thanks!

The shave at El Cortez was $15. I tipped $5.

In March 2012, art of shaving was $55 plus tip not sure today. I am going downtown for a day in August and will try a shave and compare
