My last stay at the Flamingo a very nice BJ dealer told us that if we were going to the airport, we should take our luggage to the Quad's valet and get on their direct shuttle to the airport. They claim all the other shuttles make stops to other hotels which can be a long delay. Anyway we did this (kind of a pain walking the luggage to the Quad) but it did exactly what that dealer said. Straight to the airport with no delays. It was the best $7 spent for the whole trip.. Only problem, the valet said it doesn't have a schedule for it just goes back and forth from the airport all the time but we only had to wait 10 minutes at 9:30 the morning.

Awesome tip, very good to know when I'm staying at Harrahs!

Was the bus marked anything special or is it easy to spot?

Large black shuttle that holds 15 - 20 people with luggage in back. The Quad valets will direct you to where to load (near the large electrical boxes). Another positive.. They don't ask (probably don't care) if you're a Quad guest. Good luck!

Yeah, at other properties if you come out the door with luggage they'll just ask if you are going to the airport and point out their shuttle (if its there, if its not there they'll say where to wait)

Are those the black Ambassador shuttle vans that I see at the back of the property?
I never knew they were the Quad's direct shuttle to the airport. I always thought they were for tour groups.
I wonder why the Quad does not advertise them as their direct airport shuttle?

You don't have to go to the quad for 'their' shuttle. Ambassador, Bell Trans, Showtime, and maybe another 1 or 2 will pick you up at your casino and take you to the airport for $7 as well. The downside is you may have other stops along the way for a longer ride. Just call any of them the night before and they'll gladly pick you up.
