Anybody ever play in one? I got an invite and I'm actually going to be in town that weekend. Just curious as to how it's structured and how much of my day(s) I'll need to set aside.

Okay, I can answer this for future readers (next tournament's coming up at the end of June): It's a one-day, three-round tournament. Have to win your table to advance, though there is a "wild card" draw before the 2nd round. Start with $500 chips, minimum bet is $10, maximum bet is $200. Most chips after 30 hands wins. There is a chip count after hand 25. Double-down cards are dealt face up. Surrender is allowed.

Might have to make this my Bday present. It sounds like fun.

Did you ever do it? I just pulled the trigger on the 2 day one Aug 16-17. Totally forgot on my bday.
