Background, I am Diamond (Low Diamond I have a few CET Casino's in driving distance). I have booked a room at the Flamingo through CET's website. I got 3 nights in the GO ROOM w/ a strip view for free.

I called TR's Hotline to speak with a host to see what they can offer and I received an offer for a suite at Bally's (but I don't want to stay at Bally's). They didn't offer any free play or any food and beverage. They told me with no vegas history it is hard to offer any thing else? Which I find odd because I have a host local and it is a CET casino so I am assuming my play warrants it.

How do I go about asking for things? I am not asking for a ton comped up front, I have my free Diamond Tickets + My $100 Diamond Dinner to use. But it would be nice to some kind of free play/room upgrade or maybe limo for the pick up? The person I spoke with (not naming names just told me to go through them), but they almost seemed rude about it. Basically saying since I have never been to Vegas it will be hard to offer me anything up front. Would it be a bad practice if I attempted to contact a different host at CET?

I am pretty set at staying at the Flamingo, I am going in a large group and several of them have already booked rooms in the Flamingo.

ceasars casinos in vegas are tight with upfront food comps unless you are a big player with good history in vegas, the upfront food comps happen more in local cet casinos. you can ask for an upgrade to a nicer room at flamingo and you can ask for a limo pickup, both of those are comps that are easier to get.

once you play in vegas you will have history otherwise just because you a big fish in a little pond where you play doesnt mean anything in vegas.

notsure your bank roll or what u play so cant answer alot

but becuase your a diamond no resort fees, checkin at diamond lunge ,if theres a upgrade they will give you one.
when your ready to check out see host on duty and see if your play warents any extra comps, thats about it.

ps just a heads up there is cunstructions around flamingo and all around the nieghboorhood it might or might not bother you but not at ballys theres not so just a heads up

I will play mostly Video poker/Black Jack/Slots. Budget will be around 1k per day for gambling. If anyone has a host to use for CET please PM me.

Since this is my first trip I plan on establishing a solid play history to ensure my upcoming offers will be good.

the12teddy, my situation was similar to yours. I was mid-level diamond (40k TC) based on play in AC, none in Vegas. Wanted to stay at a CET in Vegas a couple weeks ago and reached out to a host from the website:

    http://www.casinohostsoflasvegas.com/index.html

I wasn't sure about the site and posted about it here. Some others vouched for them and they are CET hosts. The owner of the site posted in that thread as well. I used Allen Frank who was very helpful and communicative. Others vouched for hosts like Rose Young and Jeff Glantz on there, and this past weekend I found out a buddy of mine uses Jeff Glantz as well and likes him.

I didn't have any real play history at Vegas CETs but Allen verified my play from AC as well as MGM casinos in Vegas I believe. He upgraded a comped room I booked online at PH to a suite and released tickets to Celine from the casino's block which were much better tickets than anything I was able to get on my own. Those were the only things I asked for and he delivered. He also checked up on me during my stay. While I was playing in the high limit room one night another host introduced herself to me and she was smoking hot but I even told her I was working with Allen and happy with him.

I suggest you shoot one of those guys an email and see what they can do. Like others said a room upgrade is probably the most you should expect. Maybe the limo pickup too, but I didn't need that so never inquired.

Presuming you have built up some TR rewards credits at your local casino, you can always charge meals to your room in Vegas and use those at checkout to "comp yourself" those costs.

We are Vegas regulars who get lots of promo offers for events and shows, but seldom with food included. CET generally wants you to use the rewards credits for dining in Vegas, in my experience. It seems to me that free play offers require a play history in Vegas, and they are better if you stick to a specific casino ...

I don't personally use the limo services, so can't say much about that. I do know that it's listed as a perk for reaching the 80k Diamond tier target now, so you may have difficulty wrangling that option if you're not in that point range already.

I am mid Diamond. Get lot of freeplay, concerts, etc at multiple CET casinos. Vegas - way less. They are just tighter out there, other than rooms.

    Just the way it is.

    Thanks everyone!
I figured most of this would be the answer. But anything I can get extra is a plus!
