Howdy from Texas!

Hello everyone! Have my first ever trip to Vegas booked for August 24 - September 3. Going solo for the whole trip and plan on playing a ton of poker with some craps thrown into the mix. Of course some heavy drinking will be involved as well. Trying to find out as much as I can before I go, so any tips will be appreciated!

 

Well, you have certainly found the right place for tips and advice. I would suggest you start scanning over the forums that are of interest to you. If you don't find what you are looking for don't be shy about asking. People here are very good about sharing their Vegas knowledge.

Yes, unfortunately I was the only one able to get time off to go. I am outgoing and love to strike up conversations with whoever I'm around so I'm sure I'll meet plenty of people to share some experiences with along the way. Can't wait!

I love solo trips - they're my absolute favorites. So don't sweat it at all. Even an introvert can't help but make new friends in Vegas. You'll have a blast!
