Long time lurker from the Metro Atlanta area...

My wife and I made our first trip to Vegas in 2000, and have been 2 or 3 times a year since then. We like it (and the western US) so much we're thinking of moving to LV.

Anyway, looking forward to contributing to the boards in the future...

    Thanks.

Welcome to VMB. I also make two trips to Vegas each year and would love to move there to get away from Ohio winters. Maybe some day. For now, I'll enjoy my visits. I leave tomorrow for ten days in our favorite city.

    Welcome.
Husband and I moved from metro DC to Oregon, it's relaxed and pretty easy going out here. I'm definitely staying here on the left coast.

    Welcome to the board.
No matter how much we love Vegas, not sure we would ever move here.
Its like have a "get away place". If you move to your "get away place" you no longer have a place to get away to.

    Thanks for the welcome everybody...

Higgiel, my wife is originally from Columbus, Oh and is a graduate of TOSU. Football season around my house can be tense - Im usually upstairs screaming at the tv ( I went to UGA and am watching their game), she' s downstairs screaming at the tv watching her game, and our poor border collies are hiding because they think they're in trouble.

And yes, I'm really afraid that if we move to Vegas we would forever lose our favorite vacation spot. Decisions, decisions...

I just want to welcome you to the board. I am definitely not getting in the middle of the do or don't move, that's something you two will have to decide for yourselves. But, if you make the move and are not happy with it you can aways just pick up and find another great place to live. :peace:
