I'm planning on visiting either the Mob Attraction or the Mob
    Museum. Which one is better?

Where are you staying? Location would factor in to my decision of which is better. I'm a downtown fan, and if I were staying downtown I would pick the museum hands down.

How much time do you want to spend on your visit? The museum can take three hours to mosey through all the cool stuff. The mob attraction may take an hour.

Are you more interested in reading and engaging with exhibits or would you rather have folks act stuff out for you?

I have been to both, and I had a pleasant experience at both (although not equally). I thoroughly enjoyed the Mob Museum and will go again. I liked the Mob Attraction, but will not make an additional visit.

I actually felt like my brain got used at the museum. I felt more like I was a participant in Tony & Tina's Wedding at the attraction.

Subjectively, I think The National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement (aka the Mob Museum) is better.

I have been to the Mob Attraction and wouldn't recommend it without some coupon. It was a good way to kill some time. The interaction portion would have been a bit more fun but my wife couldn't get into it.

I plan to go to the Mob Museum but won't head downtown just for it. I plan to make it a day trip to the Museum and spend some time downtown.

I'm staying at The Orleans and we will have a rental car so distance doesn't matter. Sounds like the museum might be better for us (especially since my wife is 100% Italian). Thanks for all the information!

Have not been to attraction and have no interest in it.

The mob museum was outstanding and well worth the trip and full price. Its a full museum, not done half way of cheap.

The museum was much nicer than I expected. My brother in law wanted to go. I'd recommend it - reminded me of the Henry Ford in MI (in terms of quality).

I haven't been to the Mob Museum yet but I did go to the Mob Attraction when staying at the Tropicana a while back. There was a guy from the attraction walking around the casino handing out $10 off coupons for everyone and 2 for 1 coupons for people staying at the casino. We decided to give it a shot, mostly because it seemed like a good deal, we wanted to kill time, and to try something different. Overall, it was a nice experience and we all (group of 4) had a fun time. With that said though, I would agree with LV_Bound and say to go only if you can score a good deal. Even though I liked it, I know I wouldn't have gone if I had to pay full price and definitely not sure I would go again.
