Has anyone played this? It's for TR members on Weekends and free. There are prizes, i think $500 free play on down. There are certain slot machines for the free play, it ends at 3 PM on Sat/Sun. I'm going to Vegas next month and get into town around 1:30. My bus arrives at Harrah's so i may walk over to the Margaritaville Casino and register. I don't check in to Caesars till 4:00, so what the heck, i may win some free play AND be around my favorite cocktail waitresses.......i'm already a winner.
In my case yes. I used to drive from LA and could arrive at 11 am which i did forever, however, i had a stroke 2 years ago and so i haven't been able to drive. I probably could fly but i'm still uncomfortable with my balance and equilibrium. So i take the Lux Bus America which is great, have taken it 4 times now, however, the bus arrives at Harrah's about 2 pm, by that time i'm hungry, so i'll have lunch on the Strip and by that time 4 pm rolls around. My thinking now is to have a quick lunch at Panda Express/McDonalds next to Harrah's and then slide over to Margaritaville to register for the free tournament. It ends at 3 pm, so i'll have time to collect my $500 in free play. then at 4 pm, i'll check into Caesars, get a pool view at the Palace Tower, and then run...or, i mean walk down to the Venus pool till about 6 pm. I have it all figured out.....LOL.
Where is the information on this Flamingo free play (not sure if this is a tournament or give away or ?) ? Do you have a link you can provide?
This is a free slot tournament being run at the Margaritaville Casino at Flamingo. It is run on Saturdays and Sundays from 11AM to 3PM. It is open to all existing or new Total Rewards members. You go in, you sign up and you go play on a special tournament slot machine. You get only 3 minutes to play and make your score. At 3:30PM they post the winners, top 5 scores are paid Total Rewards free play: $500 for first, $400 for second, $300 for third... etc
As Augge said, it's free for TR members: http://lasvegasblog.harrahs.com/las-vegas-casinos/flamingo/margaritaville-casino-at-flamingo-las-vegas-hosts-new-free-slot-tournaments/
The Quad also has a "free" slot tourney on weekdays, 11a-2p. Free in quotes, because it requires 10 Tier points now. It didn't use to require any. I don't, but I will if they dare charged me a early check-in fee. They haven't yet though.
Thanks for the details. If we are bored and in the area, we will probably do it. But with only 5 winners... probably will not go out of the way.
