Just about to pull the trigger on reservations for The Mirage in November. Haven't stayed there in a long time, are the rooms still pretty decent? Any particular (non-suite) room type I should ask for? As always, thanks for your help.:peace:

The standard rooms have very small bathrooms. If you like/need a bigger one (separate shower and tub, two sinks) get a Tower room. Otherwise, the rooms are pretty nice. A bit small compared to the the newer places, but they have been renovated in the last four or five years.

I like the Mirage rooms a lot, especially since the renovation, but the basic rooms are definitely a bit small compared to the newer resorts. If it's just you, or you and another person, then you'll be totally comfortable, but it's not the sort of place I'd recommend trying to cram a group of guys into for a party weekend, to give you a sense of things.

The Mirage is one of my favorites. Great vibe. You'll love it. Mid-strip. Lots of action nearby.

Mike as Carve pointed out, defnitely spring for the Tower Deluxe room...they have the larger bathroom and they are only on two floors (26 & 27) that have their own elevator. I always asked for a room on the West wing, facing south at check-in. That will make your view looking over the whole pool area and a nice view of the strip looking south.

One more vote for the tower deluxe. Same room, better bathroom, and on top of that you get your own elevator with fewer people competing for it.
