Quad room update?

Does anyone happen to know if and when the quad are gonna remodel rooms?

 

Nothing announced yet. Only time I've seen the Quad mentioned was a few months ago when CET generally mentioned room updates for Quad and Bally's. The Bally's south (Jubilee) tower update just started, and will be done this fall.

Complete and total guess on my part is Quad will not be until after that, and probably not until the Linq is almost finished.

 

I think it will be a long, long time before the rooms are re-done. I think the rooms are the least of their concerns right now.

 

I'm curious about your post. Please elaborate.

 

You might already know this, but some of the rooms were remodeled several (5 or 6?) years ago after Harrahs bought the IP. These are sold as the "deluxe" rooms.

The Quad "classic" rooms are original and straight out of the early 1980's.

It's my guess that they will probably eventually bring the remaining classic rooms up to current standards and not do anything further to the already remodeled deluxe rooms.

 

Not until they can figure out exactly how much money they have stolen, I mean made from their customers from the resort fee. At which point they can figure out how to spread 10% of the bottom line into some room renovations into the Quad.

Maybe they will go with a new fresh concept like "do it yourself" They will put some dusters in the room and a few bottles of cleaning solution and you can just clean your own room if you find something that disgusts you!!

 

What kind of hazard pay do you need to be on the cleanup crew that draws the Quad gig?

I would double up on Hazmat suits, wear three pair of gloves, a surgical mask UNDER my ventilator, and two condoms.....minimum.

I had some reel reward in May at the Quad and it was a terrific room. Robes, slippers, coffee pot, solid surface counter in bath, flat screen tv etc. The elevators were a bit rough but much quicker than previously. I was told those were VIP rooms for platinum and up. Tower 2 floors 5-9.

I also asked about remodeling rooms and I can't remember if she said Oct or Nov of this year , as soon as the casino was done they were doing a MAJOR over haul of the rooms.

Also they have wi fi. Harrahs rooms are still hardwired. Oh and the new check in area for platinum and up was great they gave me 2 bottles of water very friendly.
