Staying downtown, would like to explore somewhere off strip for part of a day.
Is there a bus line that runs to Silverton?
    No car available.

You could take the SDX from DT and transfer to the 117. It will take you a bit over an hour. Checkout google maps directions. You can get more of the particulars.

SDX to South Strip Transportation Terminal ( SSTT ).

Then you transfer, but I thought it was the 217 that connects the SSTT to the Silverton.

I have not actually done that route, so please double check this on www.rtcsnv.com.

You're staying downtown. Unless it has to be Silverton, check out the WAX bus to Suncoast. $2 each way, $1 if over 60. It will get you there in under a half hour, since it only makes a couple of stops.

Great drink service, 9/6 DDB at the bar. Friendly employees and in general a nice place for gaming.

When we lived in Vegas, it was in our top two places, MSS still being #1.

No, does not have to be Silverton.

We just thought it would be fun to see another part of Vegas & were looking at the ACG to see who had 2/1 lunch or dinner.

Sounds like Suncoast would be a quicker trip.

    Thanks for that info.

If you want to check out sam`s town and eastside cannery there is a free shuttle at the california and fremont that runs every hour or so.

It is a really nice greyhound sized bus and takes under a half hr to get there.

We did check out Sam's Town a few trips back... that was a fun venture and they unloaded us right at the door! Great for people with OLD feet!

Sounds like it would be easier to go to Suncoast on the WAX.

And exactly where does the WAX load & unload downtown?
