$20 is kind of standard. Unless you have a ton of bags.

That's what we have tipped each way for the last ~10 years. Some drivers seem very happy, others don't react at all, or with just a curt thank you.

We only have one bag each.

If you rotate that picture at just the right angle and zoom in, you can see shifter sunbathing.

I guess it all depends on the level of play, and what you get for it.

I am having a little difficulty with this. The employee (host) is paid to make sure the customer leaves as much money at the casino as possible. They do this via taking care of things here and there.

    Hmmmmmm

I don't take my host to dinner as he eats on property almost every night he works.
I don't necessarily think he wants to have dinner with me.
When he does a special favor for me as he did last trip with some last minute tickets,I send some gift cards to him.
    He really appreciates that.

Mastercard, Visa, American Express. I also give gas cards (Shell or Exxon as most everybody has to buy gas to get to work).

Has anyone had a female host that was really pretty? I would definitely take her out to dinner.

I don't feel like I OWE my hosts, but I do appreciate them especially when the email me back quick or I can tell they hooked me up with something special.
My wife makes gift baskets for special events so she makes me a couple up with Texas candies, wine, etc...... and then in that I stick a Visa Gift Card with an amount based on how well they hooked us up on this particular trip.
    I do it like this:
Rooms I would have had from Mlife / ltd. FB & FP= $200
Suites and a large amount of FB & FP= $500
    Special occurrence:
I.E. when my host up front comped us a FV suite + 2 regular extra rooms for my BIL and Mom for 4 days, FB, and $500 FP at Bellagio I gave him 4 $200 cards.
I know that sounds like a lot but he didn't know them and they were new to the B. They did play there exclusively so they earned some, but as you all know comps at the B are tough for new people to get and he did that because I wanted us all together in Vegas and they were hunting cheaper rooms so I asked him and he hooked me up.
Now my family thinks I'm a MAJOR Vegas Rolla!:nworthy:
It was sort of funny to watch them.
    I appreciated it greatly.

I usually just go for prepaid VISA, let them spend it on what they want.
Subway would make a good joke: "Here's a $300 gift card to subway."

i never knew anyone gave their casino hosts gifts , i thought it would be the other way around at least for big gamblers. so they make money off their big gamblers losing money in the casino plus they make money from gifts their big gamblers give them? sounds like a good deal! :peace:

There's a female host at MGM that I think is really pretty, but it makes me feel the opposite about being too friendly. I don't want to make someone uncomfortable so I am strictly business.

Besides even if I were to harmlessly flirt knowing she's only flirting back because that's her job would make me feel sad. Kinda reminds me of a guy that I once went to a strip club with and he'd be hitting on the strippers - as in trying to charm these girls who were obviously just trying to get money from him.

That's a great idea, I've run out of things to give my host.

Kinda interesting, I was thinking the same thing. I wonder if anyone has tried to hook up with a host.
