    What exactly is up there?
    Old slots?
    Sigma Derby?
    The Bar?
    The Balcony that overlooks Fremont?

    A cashier to get coins?

Haven't been up there since the remodel.

    Thanks.

I took a quick walk up to see where the theater is. It has slots but I didn't pay attention to what type. The air quality is far better than years ago as the Fitz. there are rest rooms at top of esculators, Entrance to Steak House, restaurant and the showrooms where the Scientas appear. And the balcony.

    Sue24,

You pretty much describe it, along with the showroom entrance, restaurants, and restrooms Jimbo mentions. Other than the coin-out on a lot of machines it's actually pretty decent up there. We stayed at the D for five days in February and liked being able to go directly to and from the second floor from the room elevators. Drink service was very good, the music isn't too loud (unlike downstairs), and there are some decent VP pay tables. It was clean, usually uncrowded, and a pleasant place to try our luck.

When we walked by there last week they still didn't have tables and chairs on the balcony.

Wondering if the Sigma Derby is usually busy? Looks fun

Agree, it's nicer, quieter than the Fitz was.

One person mentioned no chairs on the balcony: I believe there is not a plan to put them back. The balcony is a bit smaller, and with there needing to be room to walk from the escalator the doors, not enough room for tables and chairs.

That's understandable, but unfortunate. I used to grab a couple $2 Heinekens and sit out there smoking a cigar, watching people go by on the zipline and checking out the characters down below.

I read somewhere that they have some of the old half dollar coin slots up there... I definitely want to track those down next time I go!

If you are staying at the Hotel you can get on/off the elevator on the second floor, I used this 2nd floor elevator stop to minimize my exposure to the stupid loud music on the first floor.

But as I remember you can not exit on the outside escalator... I could be wrong.

Or if you are gambling on the second floor you can use the elevator to go to your room to use your own personal private rest-room in your room?

Correct: outside escalator is "up" only. You can go down if you hurry though. :peace:
