I'm currently in Vegas at Luxor and got in last night (Monday) at 9pm. When I arrived I had 51,337 tier credits and now 10pm Vegas time I have 76,776. I'm trying to figure out how much coin-in that is? All slots and 3 reel classic with a mix of wheel of fortune.

I charged $54 in food to my room only.

76,776 (New TC Balance) -51,337 (Old TC Balance) = 25,439 (New TC)

    25,439 (TC) / 10 (TC/Base Point) = 2,543.9 (Base Points)

    2,543.9 (Base Points) * 3 ($/Base Point) = $7,631.70 (Coin-in)

Room charges don't accrue TC until after you check-out.

Same question of what do you mean by "decent"?

For most of the normal population decent would mean the lower the better. But amongst people like us it could mean anything.

In terms of where you rate earning 25k TC per day would put you at Gold over a 3-day weekend which is a tier that carries many of the same benefits as the higher tiers so you may consider that decent. That coin-in probably generates a few hundred in comps per day max assuming high numbers like a 10% hold and 40% comp rate. That should be enough for your room and modest grub at most casinos which you may consider decent.

I think we've seen some threads here where TCs got backed out after people had things comped by a host on the back end of their trip.

I think it's possible that TCs for hotel spend get credited overnight or whenever charges hit your hotel folio, and then get backed out later if you apply Express Comps or a host wipes out some of the charges.

TCs for room charges do not get credited until you pay for them at check out...

TCs that are backed out are from the room deposit you pay when you book and then get the room comped (either my host or through ECs)

I guess it really depends on how much you lost to get 7k coin-in...if it was 7k then no thats horrible but if you got on a nice streak and managed 7k coin-in on $200 then yea thats decent.

Not trying to be that guy but I have put many more points on in a night on vp and I am extremely doubtful if that will trigger any kind of offer in any capacity. But I do hope you received a lot of play out of a minimal amount of money in the machines!

You are correct. However, I was drawing from a logical conclusion and providing information that was likely on the OP's mind as it would be for most who would then likely wish to know if that play was worth something.

Why don't you think that $7K coin in on video poker gets any comps? It seems like decent daily activity

Well in 4 hours I'm off to the airport. Had such a fun trip! I will write a trip report in a few days. I earned 55,365 total tier credits in 2 days of playing slots.

$7k coin in on VP is not decent action. It'll earn about $50 in total comps. That same action on slots will earn 2-3x that.

Last time i went to LV, i took $5000 and at the end of my 4 day trip, I had $52,000 in coin in... Seems like such a big number, but when you gamble for hours on end, and maybe you put $100 in and build it up to $700, then go up and down, up and down, its not THAT suprising. You could easily do that for thousands of dollars over the course of a sitting. Doesnt mean you won $50,000 or lost $50,000.

52k coin-in on 5k is pretty average or maybe slightly below average considering 5-10% hold. the OP said he did about 7600 coin-in on $400 which is very good.
